Traveled to Crawfordsville from Ellettsville on the motorcycle with my wife this this place (took about 2hrs because of detours).
But for me it was well worth it! We sat @ the bar (better atmosphere). I had the blackened salmon mashed potatoes and squash/zucchini. I like most fish, not so much with salmon. It was the bomb! All of my lunch was awesome. Bartender was awesome. Her name was? But just look for the good looking girl covered in tattoos. I will be back!

Had a great cowgirl burger with a cheddar skirt. Try it! You'll love it! Got a kick out of the wall art as IU fans 🤣

Although a little tough to find, it's worth the effort!! The black letters on the window aren't visible when driving up and down the street so just look for the chairs out front on the corner and keep looking!!

From the minute we walked in, the bartender made us feel welcome and right at home. Several regular customers were there also, definitely giving the place a homey feel. It's an elevated home but a home nonetheless! The decor is crisp and clean without being cluttered and overwhelming. Anthony Bourdain on the wall ensures excellent food and even better conversation!

We had the cheese curds, chicken wrap and fish and chips. Everything arrived quickly and definitely cooked to order, it was all piping hot and fresh. Perfect portions left us nice and full but not leaving anything and not overly stuffed. Francis & Mount is a win and we'll be back if ever in the area!

We stopped at the restaurant for dinner while a road trip from Baltimore to the Twin Cities. It turned out to be a very good choice. We had the Valley Chicken with Smashed Potatoes and Maple Carrots ($22.99) and the 3-piece Fish & Chips ($18.99). The food was very good as well as the service, especially for a busy Saturday night.

Love their food which is excellent and the staff. The atmosphere is good but dining room is small so hearing to have a conversation is challenging when crowded. If i go back i will go through the week during the daytime.

At first, it seemed little on the pricey side, but it was worth it. The food was fantastic. They take some basic meals and add some unique ingredients to make them great. Looking g forward to returning.

The food is always amazing here! The waitress was very sweet and even brought us a sample of the soup so we could try it. Great place!

Had the Cowboy burger, which was really good. Large 1/2 lb. patty, melted cheese, bacon, bbq sauce. Great service and a nice Saturday evening atmosphere.

I won’t lie… I made a reservation for 16 on a Friday evening and I was NERVOUS — BUT — I could not have been more pleased with the outcome!! Kymberly and her team were seriously THE BEST!
Our table was ready early… our service was tremendous… and our food was out quick - AND AMAZING (my medium Filet was perfect!👌🏽🤌🏽)! Added Bonus… Kymberly even took the time in a busy evening (while pregnant and training a new waitress) and offered to take a family picture for us to celebrate a birthday!!
This small restaurant team really shocked this big obnoxious family in the most awesome way. We will definitely be back!! Thank you will never be enough!! 👍🏼💛

Went to F & M with our son who said we would like it. He was correct! The cheese curd and spinach/artichoke dip appetizers were both delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and said they were the best he's ever had. I had the C'ville salad and ate every bite of it. Wendy was our server and she is the best, very attentive and we wanted for nothing the whole time we were there. We will definitely be back, can't believe it's taken this long to go!!

Great restaurant. Had family come over the weekend and they really enjoyed it. The digital menus really add to the atmosphere. Surprised to find a restaurant like this in corn country.

Food and drinks were great. Maggie was very helpful and had a great personality. Great local place to eat.

Amazing food. Amazing service. First time trying waygu not at all what I expected but absolutely amazing. Beautiful presentation, And as simple as it sounds, amazing salad with fresh greens.

We love this place and we'll visit every time or in Crawfordsville. If you like truffle french fries, my wife says they're awesome. Not me. 😁

They served one of the best filets I’ve had from a mom & pop restaurant. The orange bacon Brussels sprouts were amazing!

Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation. We did not. This is the first time we've ate here so PRO TIP: HAVE A RESERVATION 🤪

Although, even without a reservation they were still very kind and directed us to the bar where there was more seating.

At first, the atmosphere was very uncomfortable because it was pretty busy and it was very noisy with chattering. However, when the bar opened up, we were able to grab two seats and things began to feel more comfortable.

McKenzie greeted us and immediately started answering our questions (while ignoring my husband's dumb questions 😅). She was very kind and attentive to us while here.

We ordered corn nibs, BBQ Mac n chz bacon burger, a side of fries with aioli and the chicken. Alfredo and 2 cokes.

ALL of them were scrumptious AND well worth the price!

I recommend anyone here, come ask for McKenzie! She was delightful. 😊

Great place to eat. Love the decor, service is great, and food is amazing. Love the idea of beer cheese Mac and cheese on a hamburger. Genius.
