Beijing Chinese Restaurant

Beijing is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. We have been ordering takeout from Beijing for several years, and the food is consistently delicious. We have tried beef & broccoli, beef & veggies, beef & mushrooms, orange chicken, general Tso chicken, seafood delight, garlic shrimp, fried rice, and egg foo young. All of our food is AMAZING EVERY TIME. Portions are generous and vegetables are fresh. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!

Great little spot. Very good food, friendly service, I even had the door held for me. Super friendly service and excellent overall food. Try the teriyaki chicken. It's phenomenal.

The owners of this establishment are not only delightful people, but are excellent Chinese chefs. The food is absolutely delicious, best part is the portions are huge. If your a fan of delicious Chinese food, you will love this place.

I love this place! They are all so friendly and have excellent customer service! Every time we've ordered they have gotten everything exactly as we ordered, which seems nowhere else can do lately. Even the delivery driver is so courteous! The delivery is always so fast!.

I was recommended this place by a female & i really dnt eat all Chinese food..... But MMAAAANNNNNN WHEN I CAME HERE, A1. I usually have white rice when i get some shrimp fried rice but this time my rice was yellow...... Omg❤❤❤❤. The best recommendation i ever had & she made a new friend. Ill most def come back since im literally down the street, they got a new favorite customer.

This was my Go-To during chemo! They always took care of me, and even let me know ahead of time when the menu would change. They kept track of how I was doing. They always remember my name! Such an amazing group of people!! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!!

Stumbled upon Beijing Chinese Restaurant for the first time, yesterday and I am sure glad I did! I don't live in Portage but was visiting a friend close by in Valpo. We just had a taste for Chinese.
Our starters were egg rolls and shrimp Pad Thai, both of which were excellent. It's when I got to their beef and broccoli that I really lost it. Absolutely delicious! The beef was melt in your mouth tender and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Hands down, the best I have ever had even after having lived in Chicago many years. I'll definitely be back there and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding Chinese food.

My family and I have made this our go to restaurant for busy nights and it never disappoints. Food is always hot, order is always perfect, delivery is always earlier than estimated and the staff is phenomenal. They have a large menu, and tons of options. Highly recommend for anyone ever looking for Chinese food in the area.

Excellent Chinese food very delicious! We order the Steak and Shrimp fried rice Combo lunch or dinner, which includes a egg roll. You get lots of delicious food. The steak is very tender and excellent. Thank you for such a great restaurant. They offer quick delivery. Prices are very good too.

My one treat for myself when celebrating a positive event in my life or treating myself after a bad day, is Chinese food. Important context because I try out new Chinese places pretty often as I travel. I've lived in Portage for a few years now and have frequented Beijing the entire time. They always greet me with smiling faces and are very prompt with making my orders. I haven't taken advantage of it often, but they also deliver which is pretty awesome for a small shop.

I'm a fairly picky eater and I'm used to getting my orders back incorrect (*cough cough* looking at you South Haven McDonald's) but Bejing NEVER once have they made a mistake with my order or gave me a final product I wasn't pleased with.

As food prices have risen at restaurants all over the area post-pandemic, their prices have stayed relatively stable and very fair.

I can't recommend them enough, whether to a casual foodie or a chinese cuisine aficionado.
