Lighthouse Restaurant

We had a wonderful time. Our server Kelli was terrific and took great care of us. Our food was cooked to perfection and very generous portions. The macadamia crusted walleye was a real treat, but the appetizers salads, sides and dessert were just as good.

Absolutely recommend the Lighthouse to everyone. We’ll definitely be back!

The Lighthouse is one of my absolute favorite places! The food and atmosphere are so relaxing and romantic! Our server Olivia was beyond amazing and took exceptional care of us! The food and drinks were delicious and cooked to perfection! I definitely recommend Lighthouse for a great date night or celebration spot!

If I could afford to eat here at least once a week I would! Everything from the atmosphere to the food was spot on. Sarah is a fabulous server. She made sure to go over everything with us and made some great recommendations that made the whole experience wonderful. Everything we ate was top notch. I highly recommend the braised short ribs. My husband wanted to try the Lighthouse for his birthday dinner. We arrived at 5pm on a Thursday and were seated within about 5 minutes. The room all the way to the back, near the water, was a bit cold but did warm up immensely by the end of our meal. We started with the warm crab dip, and it was fantastic. My husband got the macadamia nut crusted walleye with a baked potato and soup of the day (stuffed pepper soup). He absolutely loved it!! He also ordered an add-on 4oz filet, medium. The steak that came was so over cooked and dried out, but it was quickly fixed, and the general manager brought him a new one that was cooked perfectly. I ordered the 8oz filet with a baked potato and French onion soup. The soup was delicious and the potato was huge! My steak was cut and cooked perfectly. It was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Our waitress was wonderful and so kind. She never let his pop run empty. We were too full to try any desserts this time, but we both agreed that we would be back, and soon, because the food was just that delicious.

Fabulous restaurant, food, atmosphere, view and service. When we come to Chicago/Indiana to visit family we always make a reservation to come have dinner. Tonight we celebrated my aunt and uncles 60th anniversary. We love The Lighthouse it never disappoints and Kelli was the best waitress ever.

We went for our anniversary, date night and a celebration for my wife’s new career. Excellent dinner, service?drinks and outstanding waitresses, Kelli!
From the moment we sat down we new this was special on so many levels. We have been here before and we chose this for our special occasion. Perfect table and view of the lake at sunset. The way a restaurant should be on all levels with attention to detail. Thank you!

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, all thanks to the general manager Shane and our server Kelli. Shane was very friendly and welcoming. He came by the table twice to make sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. Kelli was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Kelli went above and beyond to ensure that my son and I had a great dinner. She had a great sense of humor and made us feel right at home.
Overall, Shane and Kelli's exceptional service truly made our evening special. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. Thank you Shane and Kelli for a wonderful evening out with my son.

Wonderful atmosphere along the lake. We sat outside on a beautiful day. The server was so kind but we did feel a bit rushed. To be fair it was busy with many waiting for a table. Outstanding food output and the drinks were on point. Would definitely go back and try sitting inside.

5 stars across the board! I surprised my partner with our 8th anniversary dinner here for the 1st time, and it did not let down. The food, atmosphere, and service were suberb! Sarah and Kelli were OUTSTANDING. They both made us feel so comfortable and were very attentive. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I came here for dinner and it was delicious. Our waitress, Laila, was amazing! She was on top of it all night and made sure we always had a drink. The restaurant was also full of Christmas decor which we loved. Highly recommend!

My wife & I sat at the bar tonight and everything was outstanding from the bread to the soup to the salad to the dinner to the dessert! Oh did I mention the drinks were delicious too?? I started off with an Old Fashioned and finished with a Manhattan! We over indulged but it was worth it. The atmosphere for a Tuesday evening was very mellow (which I particularly like at my ripe old age of 47) and I can’t say enough great things about Morgan who took care of us at the bar! She was fantastic and on point as always! She has took care of us before and we love coming back to see her! Thanks again Morgan and The Lighthouse for turning our ordinary Tuesday night into a very enjoyable one! Now I am ready to pass out!! lol.

Kelly was our server. She was very attentive to all of our needs. We loved the service, loved the food, and we went for a walk and snapped pictures by the lakeshore! It was stunning. A wonderful time was had by all of us! Thank you Kelly!!!! You are the best!

Hopefully I get the waiter’s name right but we were here on Saturday September 30th and sat outside, with Josh taking care of us. It was our first time here and we loved it and the waiter and ambiance made this place a 5-star. I have lived all over the country so I have been to a lot of great restaurants and the food was just “average”, and for the prices could have been better. But, you can’t have everything so it was worth coming here for the service and view. The hostesses were also very friendly and accommodating.

Dinner was beyond excellent. Had a server named Tyler and will request him any time we go back. He is very personable and, overall, a great server, very attentive and knowledgeable. Had a great table with a nice view as well. The manager or owner came by the table to make sure everything was meant a lot. Will be back soon.

Everything for my daughter's bridal shower was perfect from start to finish! Everyone was impressed with the venue, lake view, food and service! Our coordinator, Dana, was patient, helpful and accommodating in planning. Kendra was very friendly, attentive and accommodating on our special day. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were beautifully served as well as being delicious.

We love Kelli!!! She was our waitress when we used to go to Kelseys. We finally had a date night after a few years and we got to see her again! Loved everything

We love everything about the Lighthouse ~the atmosphere is always welcoming and we love the decorations at Christmas. The food is always excellent and we especially love to have Kelli as our server. She always greets us with a smile and wonderful service throughout the meal! Kelli is excellent at recommendations ~the specials to anything on the menu. Thank you Kelli

Great restaurant off the lake! Wonderful food. Fantastic service. I would highly recommend for a date night , even a family night! Kid friendly too!

Kelli was so great! Very attentive, friendly, fun and brought us dessert for my bday! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and cocktails were so good as always! Took our time and really enjoyed a nice long visit!

Rented a space here for my parents 50th Anniversary party that the Lighthouse catered. Everything was perfect, like ridiculously perfect! The room had everything we asked for, enough space for everyone and a good sized dance floor. Food was great and service was impeccable. The room had a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake. Truly, the most perfect place to make the evening special for my parents. This restaurant will be the go to place for every special event we have in the area.
