Drive all the way from Hobart to come here. The guy behind the meat counter is always friendly. Ordered some skirt steak and he trimmed it and helped us pick seasoning for it. Love their home made chips and different salsas.

Love this store. We drive from Dyer just to get their homemade chips and salsa. Chorizo is great also and great tamales (cheese and jalapenos). Just wish they would open restaurant back up. 😊

Excellent food here. When they bring the salsa out its mild with a salsa verde and a habanero giving the customer a choice to increase the heat level. I ordered the carne asada which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff here. I felt appreciated as a guest and will definitely be coming back.

What a wonderful place. The food and staff are always excellent. It's a shame they are closing the restaurant portion for good after today. The grocery is just as wonderful. I highly recommend.

Great place with amazing food. Small place that not many people go, but it's definitely worth it if you want Mexican food. It doesn't take long for an order to be made too, in and out 10 minutes tops.

My favorite Mexican restaurant ever!! The BEST tacos hands down. Everything is absolutely delicious and all of the employees are super nice! Will always recommend and love the grocery store as well! This place is such a gem! :)

Hidden gem in Cedar Lake. We like $5 Taco Tuesdays where you get 3 tacos of your choice. I really like the bean burritos as well though sometimes I get charged extra for the avocado and sometimes they tell me it's included. Hm. Mushroom quesadilla used to be my favorite then it started getting made too spicy so I stopped ordering it. Still tasted good, just not a spicy kinda gal. Have yet to frequent the grocery side of the business but maybe one day!

Love, love, love this place. Food is delish in the restaurant. You cannot go wrong no matter what you order. I also love the market. The have a surprisingly large selection, an prices are good for such a small store. Their fresh meats do not disappoint. I highly recommend getting the pastor or seasoned chicken to make tacos!

Stopped in to get ingredients for guacamole. Produce was fresh, ripe, and reasonably priced. Was greeted by warm pork tamales at the door and we got some. They were so good. Very buttery tasting with a slight kick. Girl who rang us up with very nice. Will definitely come again to the grocery store.

So sad to find out the restaurant part of the store is now closed, the freakin best tacos in the area (some of the best I've had in general), my wife and I regret not following their Facebook page, if we knew ahead of time they were closing for good we probably would have ordered it everyday until the final day!

I went in to purchase fresh cilantro and walked out with $45 worth of food. This little store is very clean, organized and well stocked. The employees were knowledgeable, helpful and kind. One piece of advice, buy the tamales. They are amazing!

I love this little grocery store. Great place to pick up chips, salsa, and guacamole. You can also pick up everything you need to make your own fajitas and Spanish meals. Very fair prices. Clean. Friendly. Staff taking precautions and wearing masks. They also sell really cute cloth masks right now. Nice produce and meat too. There is also a restaurant attached and you can order takeout. I'll admit, I'd rather cook my own so I've only had the restaurant food a couple of times but I have no complaints regarding the food I've had there and I would recommend it.

We've eaten at the restaurant and shopped at the small grocery in the front. It is great to see a Mexican store that sells tamales every day instead of just on weekends. They have different types of tamales and they're good-sized. It's approximately 12 or $13 per dozen. I like the pork tamales. We had only eaten once at the restaurant so I can't really give a good review on the restaurant other than it was not very crowded, the waitress was friendly, and the decor was authentic.

This little store has all your needs, from seasoning to incredibly priced deli meats and cheeses. Great tamales, and other ready to eat food. Also if you go to the back of the building you can dine in their attached restaurant that sells incredible tacos!!
