Gellco Clothing & Shoes

Walked in for some women’s work boots. The lady greeted us and gave us so much knowledge on the boots we needed. We found 2 pair but didn’t have them in my wife’s size. We were in a pinch to get them as she needs them for Monday so didn’t have a shipping option. So we had to seek elsewhere. If we had more time, would have purchased them here and waiting for them to ship.

Earlier this year, I went to different stores looking at boots and none that looked like they were worth eyeing at since I had practically tried them all.

I was coming out of a business, down on the opposite end of the parking lot, when I saw Gellco and went in and told the dark haired lady(store manager?) what I did and needed and she pointed me to some boots. I never shopped name brands before so I looked the wall over and couldn't decide so I asked what she would recommend and she came over and grabbed a boot and I looked them over and saw that they didn't have a heavy tread like I had requested but as we walked back to the counter she assured me by practically telling me every attribute of this specific boot, which was more than my needs, and that I would have to wear some some long socks or they might rub wrong until they broke in and the boot seemed well made so I took the risk. She knew exactly what she was talking about and I had almost walked out being arrogant to how knowledge is gained.

Except for a chip of the hard edge of the sole that was struck by the end of a mechanical blade, they have held together perfectly and don't look like they will be giving in anytime soon and I am EXTREMELY tough on footwear. Soon, I'll have saved enough money from not buying elsewhere and will be back and curious to what she will teach me next.

Gelco took care of me today despite not being obligated to they let me return a pair of Rocky Boots because the soul was falling off and let me pick out a new pair at no cost to me. The girl in there is always kind and friendly. Gelco is where I'll be buying all of my carhart gear from now on

Just had to exchange a pair of work boots. Situations like that always make me anxious and uncomfortable but, Gellco made it a painless process. Super happy with the friendly staff!
