The reception gentleman was full of wisdom and guided us during our stay until our last check-out. The fact that each room was checked to confirm no one forgot a thing and even when found a call was made with a package to thank us for our awesome stay. We were blessed to be hosted by this great team at Emburara Farm Lodge.

Beautiful chill getaway. Away from the city noise, go experience the farm life in comfort and exquisite dining. Great place for a vacation. You should try it out this festive season.

We had a wonderful stay at Emburara!! If you’re looking for a quality hotel that will give you the Ankole cultural experience, this is the place to stay. Quite a quiet place and lovely scenery. Good for vacation

Highly recommended. The environment is peaceful, relaxing and mostly family friendly. It is the perfect place for a romantic get away but also as a family vacation. So many activities for both kids and adults. Yet at the same time, great for peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is so pleasant and are always willing to help. Leslie was great. I had a wonderful time here with my son.

Beautiful place! Carefully thought out concept. The landscaper did a great job. Can't wait to do the farm tour, hopefully during the rainy season.

The rooms were clean and cozy, I loved the tea pot in the room for any time hot water..every time I stepped out, my bed was upgrading beautifully accordingly...the food was nice, the milk tea was like my home town, the swimming pool with the night lights banage...the kids room to keep machikins busy is a great idea...Personal touch in everything.hope to come back

Excellent stay! Perfect for a stopover on a trip in the west of Uganda. The most comfortable accommodation you can find, with the best bed and shower. The bungalows are well-equipped with tea/coffee, robes, etc and the rooms are well-decorated. The staff are very kind and offer great services with evening entertainment, camp fire and cow milking and herding. Highly recommend !

We stayed for 1 night here but wish we had more time! The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and well appointed. Staff is friendly and the onsite food is delicious (some of the best that we've had in Uganda). I love that there's a gym and pool onsite too, as well as cultural / farm tours and activities available.
Only downside is that we were told that Wifi would be strong, including in our room, but that proved not to be the case. We couldn't get Wifi or cell signal in our room and had to go to the lobby.

Still though, this is a GREAT lodge!

Horribly overpriced but superb

I highly recommend this home away from home and the noisy and polluted cities. Emburara Farm Lodge is the definition of perfect beauty and serene.The food is delicious and the staff are very welcoming and professional. Their rooms (high end exotic huts) are world class standard!

Emburara is a nice secluded place with all kinds of fun for both kids and adults.. Its a full package of fun if you think about the farm with animals, the cottages to spend a night or 2 or 5 . its out of town which makes it the perfect place if you are just tired of the dust, the noise and the chaos. Have your eyes rest on plenty of green cover up there. Its a beautiful place but what really stands out is the staff, the employees .
They work hard , they are physically and mentally present when attending to guests, they will make you feel like royalty and its genuine ,they don't do it because it's their job , they do it because they love what they do. If I were ever to come back to western Uganda,it would definitely be to Emburara farm lodge

This place is amazing!!! Everything included. Price is reasonable. Cottages are fully installed with seating areas, reading nooks, balcony, a private yard, fridge, and a beautiful bathroom. All amenities included. They have activities for children as well as adults. A very sophisticated intergration of local culture presented to international standards.
Also given the covid times they are very particular about sanitization and social distancing. Beautiful view overlooking a vast farm land. A must visit place for locals as well as tourists.

Breathtaking environment. Quiet, beautiful, reconnection with nature and tradition - just the place to be if you want to escape the busy places whether alone or as a group/ family. Love it

Holiday gateway, very nice environment

Good place in Mbarara near the Mbarara airfield. It is good for holidays, nature walks, honeymoon extra. It has a beautiful serenity, clean and organized rooms, very welcoming and friendly staff. It is good for kids and also for a weekend getaway with friends. The pathways are paved and the gardens are well kept and maintained.

Lovely service and personal attention to the experience by the manager. Food is great, the cottages are amazing and the tranquility of the location is unmatched. Perfect for work retreats or family weekend getaways.

Great hideout at the heart of the Milk kingdom , it feels great to be here reflect on the past year and set resolutions for a fresh 2010. The sound of the beautiful long horned cows the other side of the farm is everything . Awesome experience
