Igongo Country Hotel and Cultural Centre

Had a lovely stay at the Igongo Country Hotel! This hotel is very upscale for the area and the rooms are very private / secure. Our room had a beautiful patio, an AC unit (which is rare), and a spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water. The staff was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The hotel also has several amenities (pool, spa, exercise facility, and outdoor bar area). I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Good service, great staff, very helpful and friendly. My first room had aircon which could not switch on but they switched my rooms anyway. The hotel bed is very comfortable and I slept well. There's also sauna and steam room which I thoroughly enjoyed Enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend !

They've got great customer service. Also it is in a quiet area.

It was an amazing experience , great food. they are good at conferences too, Igongo team real outdid themselves

The buffet was very delicious. I had Christmas buffet with family and the girls liked it.

A great highway stopover cultural center just before entering Mbarara City. It has a beautiful landscape view on the opposite side.

I loved Igongo Cultural center.The warm welcome its location gives people who have just arrived in Mbarara,the warm welcome by the workers,the rooms oh my! Loved my stay there.

Service at its best. White towel Policy, caring about the environment. Clean rooms,Great breakfast.I like the customer care smiles from both waiters and and waitresses. One stop holiday point for the families in those classy cottages.

This is a great stay! Air conditioning was very cold hot water at night and fresh food daily! We ordered every night but they made every order for our large group so it took a while. But that is normal. Outstanding service outstanding staff! Thank you for a great stay!!

For the Rooms I may not be sure, because I actually didn't have a chance to enter any of the rooms, but I suppose they must be good too.

Gave a 5 of 5 for service because their service care delivery in Their diet is all fine, making delicious food and so are worth it.

It's located in the main road by their gate though the main place is slightly off the road.

Great hotel to stay when in Mbarara, It is a perfect place to rest when going or coming from Entebbe to Bwindi since It is almost in the middle of the route.

Rooms are Big and clean, service is great, food is delicious, and also you have access to the spa and all the services (gym, swimming pool, Steam bath...etc)

Great place. The museum showcases cultures and traditions of the people of Western Uganda.
The restaurant is great although the menu prices are a bit on the high end.

I'm impressed by the friendliness of the Igongo Cultural Center Restaurant Staff! I went to the Restaurant with a group of travellers and we called to oder in advance via WhatsApp and the staff kindly took our orders, even confirmed which sides we wanted when information was missing from our side. The food was not ready at the time we requested but at least we got our food faster. I think it was really nice that they took our orders in advance. Also the waiters were attentive and very friendly.

Such a nice place, a must visit for tourist's if you happen to passby Mbarara city. Rich menu, lacious gardens, hotel rooms and cottage's. I will sure always passby

I would urge u to make a stop over and get info about the history of bunyoro-kitara empire and how strong the empire of the bachwezi was, how the eclipse ended a war between banyoro and nkole tribes
