Once the most posh hotel in Mbarara it still holds a respected name and a quality of Staff that still tries to deliver quality service. I ordered the calf liver. It was great. I would think they were chunks of steak. They were big and soft pieces with a gravy over top.

Ideal place for family outings,dinner and get together, spacious and refreshing views ,delicious local meals and great staff support .The place lacks some entertainment but quiet and calmness compasates for this.....

Great customer care. Clean wash rooms, great meals, accomodation, swimming pool, free wifi, etc. To us who love nature, this hotel gives you that feel. I loved watching weaver birds make their nests as I enjoyed a cold beer. Thank you Lake View Resort for the wonderful experience.

Serene environment coupled with great customer service. Clean washrooms, spacious rooms, open wifi, gym among other modern facilities that this place has to offer. Not forgetting the food-local dishes are great. Spacious gardens and several conference halls for trainings and meetings.

Best place to stay in mbarara. Very clean environment, good customer care, the food is too notch. I highly recommend this place.

I am always staying over at this hotel and it has been beautifully refurbished. Close to all amenities, the kind and helpful personnel and the spacious rooms with good bed linnen and cushions, make for a good stay.
If you are traveling to western Uganda, Lake View is your hotel.
