Visited for first time and pleasantly surprised.I’m a bit of a foodie with a spoiled palate but I have to admit this little eating house provided us with some great flavours at a good price. Octopus prawns fish all good , lobster and chips excellent. Small downside is advertised wine but no wine . I recommend tasting this chefs skills 👍

Great local food in a rustic setting. A must if you are in the area. We were well received by the owner with true Zanzibar hospitality. We had fish skewer, curry beef, curry veg and coconut beans! Really flavorful and well priced.

The owner, Saeed was a wonderful host, always smiling and friendly. We had two types of fish and prawns and it was fresh and flavourful.

Best local food on the island. We ordered pasta with curry and seafood and Pwezawanzi both were very delicious 😋😋.

An Oasis in the middle of the desert!
Escaping the horrendous nearby Coconut Tree Resort, found this great humble local place. Sahid and family are doing a great job and offering good food in a cozy environment given the operational challenges ! The Octopus and whole fish were great, so surprisingly for the location my seafood spaghetti better than in most italian places )) Thank you and great continuation!

One of the best Restaurants on the Island i would say. You'll get what u pay for, even more! Seid, the owner, is really nice and makes u feel really Welcomed. The only Thing in Zanzibar is, You'll have to spend time.. Everywhere you go. Maybe order over WhatsApp before. If u dont, then You'll have to wait 40min to over 1hour. But Everywhere in Zanzibar.

Very nice owner. Food is fresh and delicious. The best way to get your food fast is to contact via wjatssapp and place your order ans the owner will prepare it for you.

Very tasty food at a reasonable price in a pleasant environment. We ended up going to the place repeatedly. The host is very kind and open to keep a small talk with you. There is a choice of local cuisine as well as burger or pasta. I recommend visiting and trying the coconut beans or the beef avocado burger (check the attached picture). On our last visit we received a travel package with local snack as a gift. Very pleased.

First of all the owner of the restaurant Said is really friendly and kind. We texted him during the day if it's possible to come in the evening and he answered immediately. We ordered "grilled baracuda" and "Pwezawanazi" and it was delicious. We enjoyed our stay, the food and the whole atmosphere.

We had a wonderful lunch at this local place. The owner/chef prepared fresh food for us and we really enjoyed every single bit of it. I had the best tender fried calamari on the Island and my soulmate had fish in coconut sauce with rice. The place is next to the main road right beside the speed bump. It felt like an oasis between those unfinished brick houses on both sides. The owner once he finished our meal sat beside us to witness our expressions of pleasure as we started eating. Would recommend to everyone who wants to experience the lovely local cuisine and hospitality.

Everything was very tasty and in a good price. The owner is very friendly.

A small oasis of peace to taste really good typical dishes in an area really devoid of local restaurants.
We took a mix of seafood with various side dishes and the choice could only be extraordinary!
The owner is a very friendly and welcoming person.
