Calamari Beach Resort

The staff was very friendly and kind, they are real care takers. The villa was splendid with a really nice view on the swimming pool and the sea. The infrastructures were great (the bar outside was really cute with all the lights). The breakfast was delicious. We didn't want to cook so we just ordered food from their restaurant every evening. The menu was diversified and dinner was delicious. They brought it to the rooms. But you can also cook because you have a fridge in the villa and everything you need to cook with. Just the Wifi was not good in every room and you don't expect as a tourist to find this kind of hotel at the end of a bumpy road but except that, it was really nice. I highly recommend this place !

I liked everything. Specially the rest, the pool, the food😍, the workers and the view. I was there with my kids and wife. We will come back soon! Thanks a lot

Had a wonderful 10 days stay with my family at calamari villa’s. It was spacious and very clean, the food and staff is amazing. Beautiful scenery and stunning views with a beautiful seafront. My family and I was very happy with our stay, and we already talking about making another trip back there next year.

Calamari is an exceptional place , it’s a little safe haven! The location is brilliant for anyone looking for serene scene and vibes…….relaxing tranquility at its best . The food is mouthwatering and the service is exceptional.

The place is amazingly beautiful… the view of the ocean and the pool area Is extraordinary…. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spacious even the seating room offers spectacular sea view. I received a very warmly welcome from the owner, Hassan. The staff are very friendly and easy to deal with. The place is breathtaking and ideal for relaxation, you can cook by yourself or have the chef made something of your liking as well so you feel like you at home away from home…. It’s a villa that has both hotel like and apartment combined in one.

For anyone who visit Zanzibar, I’d highly recommend 💯, you can never find any place better.

" I have no idea where to begin with this one. If I had to describe everything about the Calamari Villas experience in a single word, it would be exceptional. The Place is amazing especially the Sea view is serenity, Since it was our Honeymoon I could easily found all the love around in Calamari, We were welcomed by the lovely staff.

We were given the opportunity of a property tour or going right to our villa and we gladly opted for the tour, We both fell in love with the views instantly not to mention the rooms we're very spacious and cosy, not to forget the Swimming pool which overseas the Indian Ocean
We had amazing time that we stayed most of our days chilling by the Bar having different Cocktails. Thankfully, we had the means and foresight to extend our time at this place.

You have thousands of options of places to stay if you are ever fortunate enough to visit Zanzibar.
For us, we wanted to split our time between the Villas and the beach parts of Zanzibar it was once in a lifetime experience. Calamari checked all of our boxes and left us with hundreds of photos and memories that will last a lifetime.

It wasn’t just a stay… it was an experience, an amazing one. Stayed in a lot of apartments/ villas across the world and this has certainly been the best. Hassan the host became a friend and a brother.
I came on vacation with 3 other friends and the best decision we made was experiencing calamari first. It absolutely defined our vacation in an amazing way. The host was on hand to show us around and provided us with advice on tours and things we could do. He absolutely made our dream a reality and i will certainly be visiting again because of him. Calamari is a must stay especially for a young group/ couple looking for an epic time. Certainly worth every cent.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, gorgeous building with perfect ambience and serenity and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in.
But the thing that makes Calamari residence villa such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.
Hassan was the real MVP; he went over and beyond to help make our stay memorable & enjoyable. He ensured we received nothing but the Best service.

Amazing place nice and clean no Sandy beach but the view makes more than up for it. Nice for family’s or couples.easy to talk to staff overall it was a great place to stay.

Simply put, don’t come to Zanzibar without checking in with Hassan and his fam. Delay ur stay if u gotta lol. Looking for one helluva time? Thank God places like this still exist, then thank me later. 5star treatment all round. We doing this again soon 100%.
