STARBUCKS Xinhai Shop

The staff are nice, they speak English and understand broken Mandarin well. I only bought cheesecake a few times and it was as close to SarahLee as you get in Taipei. A bit pricey, but overall good. Very nice interior, though always quite busy since it's very close to a university.

The store holds coffee tasting gatherings occasionally. Wish there are more power sockets available near the seats.

Love this place so much.
You can just sit there people-watching the whole afternoon, read some books, study, work, or chat with your friends.
Compared with other cafes near NTU, Starbucks seem to be not so expensive.

Can be especially crowded on the weekend or during the week when the NTU students are writing their midterm or final. At those times, I’d advise to go someplace else.

This is my favorite Starbucks in town so far. It’s cozy with friendly staff and faces rows of tall trees on Xinhai Road which is nice to look at while enjoying a cup of tea.
