The fourth floor parking garage here is THE best place in the city to watch F-16s take off and land! Absolute must-visit for military fans and planespotters.

This Carrefour is great for shopping. There are car carts for free for kids to play driving as you shop. It has a deli with really nice food and discounts after 7pm. We had sweet potatoes and roasted chicken. It was very delicious!

Very very very cost efficient, has the best price and good quality, purchased a lot of stuff form here and nothing is bad. Always visit carrefour every time when I visit Taiwan

Well, this is the store with the best selection in Hualien. If you missed American products, there have some but be prepared to pay premium price. They have pretty good "French" bread (at least, it is better than anyywhere within 50 miles radius).

The best market at Hualien for me
- easy to buy anything ( food, fruit, vegetable, clothes, electronic...)
- cheaper than marts
- Recommended go have lunch or dinner at the restaurant in Market ( we ordered the foods only, and steam rice + red sweet tea + soup = buffet ) dish price from 120-300TWD

Good place with a lot of products to chose from. Kids will love it as there are small shopping carts for young ones and a toy car cart for the little ones. Too bad they close the kids special cashier.
