Hotel Bayview

A fantastic hotel. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were great - comfortable beds, excellent water pressure, thoughtful theming and design, and an incomparable view of the ocean.

Other perks include a 24 hour cafe with snacks, delicious breakfast buffet, complimentary bicycle rentals (with a beautiful trail by the ocean readily accessible), and complimentary ride to and from the train station.

Would very highly recommend this hotel.

Juan and his team deserve every star on Google reviews. I was originally planned to stay 1 night, but called them up for 2 night stay. It was cheaper to book direct. It was also arranged for us to have 3 rooms on the same floor, sea facing. The ocean was great (not the sandy types though). Rooms looked like the pictures - great.

Nice little coffee room open all hours where you get free coffee/ packet cold drinks and loads of little snacks.

It is not in a bustling town, but what you get is a lovely small cozy hotel next to the rock beach. Convenient coin operated laundry located next to hotel. Bicycles free for hire. Amazing breakfast spread. Love it that they provide kids size bedroom slippers too.

Rested at this hotel the night before we visited Taroko Gorge. From the airport pickup to the great breakfast spread, everything was amazing! Even though we didn't have a beach-facing room, the hotel is less than a 5 minutes walk to the beach, so we didn't miss much. Even if the location isn't the most walkable, the hotel is generous with train station transfers. An overall great value!

Right next to ocean with few steps walking, they provide free bike to guests which you can ride along the coast line, very nice. The staffs there are supper friendly and nice . I lost my car key on the beach while biking , the front desk staff helps me contact the rental company , locksmith , then Drive me to rental place to pickup the key . Very helpful !

Everything and every employee is amazingly genuine, professional, courteous, and helpful! The snacks and drinks are generous and with variety! Do not miss the free bike rental on premise and take the bike route along the beautiful seashore! Thank you guys for the great memories and will definitely come back for more.

Stayed here several times, every time is for the October Taiwan KOM races. Only real hotel in the Qixingtan area. Great view of the ocean if you get a room with ocean view. Breakfast is O; nothing to write home about. They offer pick up from the train station so be sure to arrange it when you book.

Very friendly receptionist, both brothers, Juan was so approachable, he had solution to our all questions and problems, starting from check in, to provide clothe dryer stand, iron, guidance for finding restaurants and even parking near by. Learn a lot about Taiwanese road indicators, how parking is allowed inside white lines, They even made some vegetarian breakfast specially for us.

The Bayview staff is super helpful and friendly, even to people not staying at the hotel. We were by the beach for an evening swim and was looking for a taxi back, ended up with a ton of recommendations of what to do in Hualien.

Easy and enjoyable stay. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, recommended places of attractions and promptly addressed to our queries. Room is comfortable, well-maintained and clean with nice breakfast provided. Free bike rental service too. Location is excellent just along the beautiful pebbled stones Qixingtan beach. Definitely worth to stay in! Special thanks to staff - Juan for contacting us and helped to arrange an express courier to send our misplaced item to our next destination - Taipei. We are extremely impressed by the extra mile service rendered.

The service in the hotel is top. The reception personnel helped us to arrange a tour around the area and were always looking to make us feel comfortable.

This place is amazing. Super nice/friendly staffing, great breakfast with a varieties of selection (Eastern and Western).
Location is within walking distance to the beach. Bikes are free rental.
Lastly, rooms are very clean, organized and thoughtful (all the amenities are well prepare).

The small and slightly dated rooms are well maintained and super clean. The location near the beach is also nice. But the service was specatular--the staff went out of their way to help out a buddy and I, as we made a stop along our week long bike tour of eastern Taiwan.

It was a perfect stay for me. My awesome room was fresh andclean. The bed was big and comfy. I had a nice view of the ocean. And the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, especially Juan. He spent a lot of time helping me - to include a little research - with my crazy questions about a long lost lighthouse in Hualien amongst other things. He's a great guy to get travel advice from. By the way, they have a nice little coffee room open all hours where you get free coffee and little snacks. I'm a glutton; I ate too many. Oh yeah, there's a small coin laundry right across the road. Huge for people like me who live on the road.

Best hotel I stayed at in Taiwan on my recent trip. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, train tickets, a bus tour to Taroko Gorge and even drove us to the train station to catch the bus tour.

服務人員很親切，訂房時知道有小小孩，還特地準備了澡盆，房間也很乾淨，住的是面海的房間看海看日出🌅都很方便。The service staff was very kind. When I booked, I knew that there were small children. I also specially prepared a bath. The room was very clean. It was very convenient to live in a sea-facing room to watch the sunrise.

We stayed at the Hotel Bayview for 3 nights as we wanted to explore the Taroko Gorge area but weren’t too impressed with the prices of the hotels in that area. We are so pleased that we decided to stay in the Hualien area and especially at the Hotel Bayview. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and very clean. The shower was great and they have a fridge in the room which was great for keeping water cold as it was so hot. The breakfast is a buffet with a good selection of western and Asian options. The hotel is great for families and couples. We would love to stay here again and would highly recommend the Hotel Bayview.

This hotel is recommended by Tripadvisor. And we really have a great time staying there. The staffs are friendly. We choose a sea view room with balcony. From there we can watch sunrise. The bedroom is cozy with lazy chair. The bathroom is luxurious. The food is great, from Asian to Western style, all delicious. But they don't serve dinner. You can get picked up if you come by train.

One of the best hotel we stayed during our 12 days trip in Taiwan.
Excellent staffs, extremely helpful and friends. Good location closed to beach and convenient store. Facility is good with unlimited coffee, drinks and snacks. If lucky, can see the sunrise from beach.
