Come for the saffron ice cream with rose water and mulberry sauce. My favorite ice cream on the island. Go and meet Chris, the owner of the shop, who is one of the most charming people on the island. Great fun with Chris always.

A great place to shop for some souvenirs or some unique snacks to bring back to your friends, family or colleagues. I personally love the dried figs.

Also on the menu are rice pudding, yoghurt and rose water coffee.

Might be the best ice cream I have ever had (saffron and rose flavor). And the owner is such a nice man! Enjoyed chatting with him and enjoying his delicious ice cream. Wish I could bring some home with me!

I'm not good at noticing shops, so despite hearing about the Iran Bazaar, it took me a few times to find it! Just look for the pink signs! I came to browse, and ended up with a delicious stew and some freebies whilst waiting for my food to cook. It's a place where it's easy to socialise; great atmosphere, and enjoyed hearing about stories of living in Taiwan!

Amazing ice cream and incredible service from the shop owner! Also very clean and organized. The owner recommended ice cream flavours to us and made little tweaks while we were eating by adding saffron, espresso and rose water~

I ate here twice on my 3-day visit. Both times it was delicious -- such a pleasure to be able to have Persian food -- so flavorfully spiced and perfectly cooked. The food really is a labor of love. If you know you're going to eat there in advance, you can stop by and let him know and then come back. I had the chicken stew both nights. You can sit at a table out front and watch the world go by and the owner is so friendly. He introduced me to other guests and made me feel welcome. Thank you for your hospitality!

Found it by accident, we walked in as customers, left as friends ... highly recommended for a little Iranian experience. Their frozen ice creams are little gems.

What a lovely place! Stopped by after walking all day around the island and had the most incredible fig and rose ice cream. The owner is delightful, the ice cream the best I have ever had, and the price extremely reasonable, do not miss it!

The saffron ice cream and all of the combinations of ice cream you will find no where else, will bring you in the first time. Then Chris, the owner, will always bring a smile to your face and you'll keep coming back.

We visit XLQ often, and this is one of our regular spots. It is wonderful!!

Great service! Great ice cream! Great times. During our short stay here in Xiao Liu Qiu, my friend and I visited everyday and tried the delicious and original flavours. If you ever come to the island I highly recommend you pay him a visit - you won’t regret it. :)

The food is amazingly fresh! The owner is very friendly and welcoming! The ice cream and tea is refreshing. Can not praise this place more and a must see on the island.

Ran into the shop during a rain shower and ended up staying for hours! The ice cream was as amazing as everyone said it was as were the Iranian donuts. My daughter had the rose tea with saffron rock sugar and she said it was so good it made her emotional lol. Thanks Chris!

Came here for some ice cream and left with a new friend. Chis's saffron ice cream is super special, and unlike anything I have ever tasted in Taiwan. In fact everything he has on the menu is unique and delicious. We bought figs, saffron and soap and will be back for more!

We never thought we’d find authentic Iranian food in Taiwan, let alone in Xiaoliuqiu. We were blown away by Chris’ food and hospitality, and would recommend anyone visiting the island to make a stop at this place. You must also try the donuts!

Behrouz is so friendly and welcoming. We sat a while, and loved the rice pudding, the yoghurt, and the ice cream. And all without sugar. A very special find. Tomorrow we will be back to try drinks and donuts!

Wonderful find after a long day sightseeing. Persian kebab was delicious, fleshly cooked to perfection. Next time we will come in the afternoon for Persian tea and dessert.

It was so nice to have some Persian food in Taiwan! It was so nice to have a little taste of home! (I'm from Vancouver, we don't have our own cuisine but great food from around the world!)
