Taian Service Area

Taian service area is a rest stop along the highway towards Taipei.

The service area has ample parking lots, clean toilets and restaurants. Many food choices include 7-11, fast food, snacks and so forth.

Good to take a break to fuel your car and a toilet break before heading north. The next rest stop is a long way so stopping here is better. As the next rest stop is not so clean.

Bathroom is open and airy. Super clean and well kept. It isn't a crowded restaurant stop at all. Excellent.

Here are some picture taken at night. We were heading back to Taipei and stopped here to have dinner.

It’s not a big rest station, but it’s still a nice place to take a break and have something to eat.

A pleasant pit stop for travellers with a beautiful garden park.

Crowded during holidays and long waiting to get a parking lot.
Regardless of that, a very clean area, a lot of shopping and eating options

Pretty good service area. Stores are regular price. Got strawberry cream puff which was very good. Bathroom toilet had bidet but it didn’t work

delicious....the boss always give me free wonton everytime i buy 2 packs of dumpling..the dumplings are big and delicious..

This test area has clean bathrooms, cool photo opportunity with a rockstar bike and shops+ convenience stores to meet your needs. It's also visually appealing with nice architectural features and colours.

Service station that has everything you need, restrooms, gas station and lots of shops, where you can eat pretty good food. The prices are fair as well. Apart from that, you will find a convenience store here and lots of gift shops. My favorite snack to try is Taiwanese baked bun with stuffing - truly recommended.

Because i personally drive a lot around taiwan as i take customers to some places like Sun Moon Lake (the very center of the island unbelievably amazing) i use highways a lot like 1號 and number 3號
All my guests always feel shocked when we stop for a little rest on the way. Resting area is like an amusement park itself.Taian is one of them. Great place to have a snack and get a break from seating a car. Food is also nice its not typical fastfood as you may think it. Try it👍

The service center is well managed. Relaxing, clean, and spacious. The restrooms are clean and the capacity is quite large. Food variety is wide, including reasonable options for vegetarians. One of the best service centers along the highways.

only first time to stopped on this service area from Houli going to Toufen.. they got Starbucks here and the usual convenience store (7-11).. did not explore much but its nice to sip that coffee under the tree by the Starbucks area.. =) enjoy your rest from the freeway..

Hitchhiking to Taipei I had to stop in this service area to change ride. Big car park for car and busses, toilets available in the area, convinient shops, Starbucks and souvenir shops. All with several free WiFi if you need to connect your phone to the Web!

Clean and convenient. It's kinda complete and cheap. One of the best in Taiwan as I know. The roadmap also easy to follow.

nice service station with a reasonable choice of different food. Even for vegetarian there are some options.
