Carrefour Chong Qing Store

Walking distance from bus stop and Daqiaotou MRT Station. It's just opposite the hotel where we were staying and it opens till 2am on weekends.

Occupying 2 basement floors. You can get practically anything you need here. There are sections selling Taiwanese souvenirs, pastries, mochi, etc... Very convenient to buy your souvenirs here. Prices are very tourist friendly.

Quite a distance from the city. Took uber there. Big hypermarket with a variety of fruits and snacks from Taiwan :)

This hypermarket is quite near to our 民宿 that we stay. So we decided to go and take a look. Very impressive. Price is good. We end up brought alot of things back.

It is almost a shopping mall, that big of a super market. Interesting for foreigners.

Fairly large for being downtown. It's clean, there's no line.

I've finally found one type of Mulino Bianco cookies, arguably the most traditional brand for a proper Italian breakfast (milk or tea + cookies).

The tomatoes udon soup was delicious!

Carrefour is always our to go for home utilities and toiletries. There are many imported food, canned and packed food, snacks. The prices are consider reasonable. Environment is clean.
There is also self check out counter.
Together with carrefour there are a few eateries to have a meal too, beef noodle, Japanese, udon, Korean buffet.

Excellent supermarket. I recommend visiting after the morning rush hour and on a weekday, so you’ll be able to relax and stroll around. Great fresh food section especially the bakery which has very good quality bread and pastries at great prices!

Best of the Carrefours in my opinion. Better selection of grocery and fresh and prepared foods. Better layout as well. And a lot of open cashier.

Located on top of different restaurants where you can grab something to eat if you want. Its also entirely possible to buy cooked food at the Carrefour itself.

If you've been to a Carrefour before you'll know its big with lots of foodstuffs for sale. You can pretty much get anything you can imagine at this supermarket. Definitely fun to walk around and see all the offerings!

Thank you everyone from the lady giving my girl a balloon, the tea lady giving advice, the cashier telling us to pack our things in the box, and last but not least, the gentlemen at the exit who helped move my boxes to the taxi...thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If I may, the tax refund service can be much fiether improved and the man at the counter should be more polite, especiallt if he is talking to a lady tourist shopper...just saying...

Great market. Had everything that a tourist would need. Fresh fruits, veggies, cooked food, snacks, medicine, etc. Very clean and friendly staff. The fruit prices are very cheap.

Very large shop open very late!

Food is cheap and delicious! Shopping in Carrefour itself is fairly cheap to compare to other stores but the fruit quality doesn't meet your expectations 🙂

A good store with a wide selection of fresh produce, household items and dining options

This was my second time there and the thing I noticed most was the low cost of fresh fruit. 10 times cheaper than convenience stores. A little cheaper on most other things as well.

There's a Churchill's freezer at this Carrefour with proper European-style sausages, traditional English meat pies, sausage rolls, ready meals and more.
