Eslite NTU Store

This is an excellent bookstore for foreigners living in Taiwan. They have many locations and all of them have plenty of books in English. You can find many different kinds of books: history, philosophy, science and technology, psychology, languages, etc. at this particular location, you can get 10% if you are studying at NTU, which is very nice but I wish all students could get this benefit. Something I also love about this place is that they let you open the book and take a look first so you can make sure you want to buy it. The atmosphere is also very nice and the location is great.

Always open to the parents n kids for free reading. Functioning as a public library for most parents. When the heat hits the city, it offers cozy corners with books to your reach!

One of the few places in Taipei where you can find a decent selection of English books albeit the higher prices.

It could be a bit difficult for English readers to find books to read in Taiwan. Eslite usually has a fair collection of English language books but NTU branch is something else. The ground floor is a heaven for me personally. Each time I go to Taipei , I always come here. It's just a lot of books I can read as a English reader and be in peace. It's also that wooden interior for me.

I love sitting in here and getting a gist of the books I want to buy. Their English collection might be a tad bit limited but can always request them for the books you want, and they’ll bring it in!

The bookstore is situated across National Taiwan university within 5 minute walk from MRT station. It offers a variety of books from English novels to children books. The price is on the high side for most people.

Love this bookstore! Great selection of pens and notebooks on the second floor. They have many classic American children's books translated into Chinese as well.

This is my favorite Eslite in Taipei! Nearly the entire basement level is English. If you're looking for English books, you'll have a better chance of finding what you're looking for here than probably anywhere else in Taipei. This store has almost nowhere to sit down and read which personally I like cause I find it annoying at the other locations to have get around all the human obstacles all over the store.

Excellent selection of books in Chinese and English (English books are on the basement floor), and a cafe upstairs that serves a drink unique to Taiwan: a green tea covered with a top layer of sour cream - 綠蓋茶 - (it's better than it sounds)

I really like this book store. It has a coffee on the top floor. Their stationary can be a bit in the expensive side. But they have really pretty cards and gifts

They have a large collection of books and the atmosphere is very good for going through some of the books. They may not have the best prices but the service and large collection are worth their charge.

An iconic book store accompanying the students of nearby colleges for tens of years. Located right at one of the best areas in Taipei, surrounded by many best of its kind restaurants and shops.

It's great place, not only have English editions book and Chinese title books but also have delicate lunchboxes ~

For a student from other cities, there is a special experience that Eslite bookstore does not locate in certain shopping mall. An Eslite bookstore is opposite the main entrance of NTU, so I can have a reading travel much conveniently.
