Good Friend Cold Noodles

Absolutely delicious.

While at Shilin night market, you must go and have those cold noodles.
Taste of sesame dressing with a nice spicy kick (which we picked when asked, you can have spicy or not), few pieces of cucumber I think and the whole thing just works.
Simple ingredients but very good for the tastebuds.
Less than 2 usd for a small portion which is actually not that small at all.

A must try no doubt.

Your options are Small or Large.
Spicy or not spicy.

Definitely recommend the Large and Spicy.

It's not oversized and the spice is low, just a nice warm heat.

The noodles were delicious and I'd highly recommend making this a must eat place during the visit to Taipei.

Food is delicious! Worthy of it Michelin guide! The staff will help you get a seat so no worry! Remember to mix well! And slurp away.

Great cold noodles, the sesame sauce came together well with the rest of the bowl. Well deserved Michelin bib.

There are 2 lines for waiting; one for eat-in and one for takeaway.

Great tasting noodles!

One of the dinner stops walking around the night market. There are 2 locations and this was the smaller oner. There was no queue and noodles prepared very quickly. Flavours were great but light at the same time!

The cold noodles is really good. It is actually dandan noodles with a bit of fresh sliced cucumber and ham. It was simple a just delicious. At TWD60 per small plate, there is plenty of room for the stinky taufu which is available as well. The stinky taufu was freshly fried hence was pretty good. It is recommended to add some chilli to the taufu. The chilli has some soy beans added hence was very good.

The seating space is very limited and cramped. The owners does not really mind having customers eating other food that are bought from other street vendors which is good. Only thing is the fella who is in charge of frying the taufu was pretty rude. Apart from that, all is well.
