IKEA Xindian

Visited in November 2023: Great location and easy parking. All items sold in this store are the same as what I have seen in Canada.

Went here by myself and I was happy with the experience, the restaurant was a bit hard to find because you have to go inside their showroom first. I first saw the ikea cafe which also had a great selection of food but i really wanted to try the restaurant menu which was much more filling since it was during lunchtime when I arrived.

We visited IKEA Xindian on Saturday afternoon. It surprised us because it was not full of people like it always does in other stores. We enjoyed the space a lot.
We will visit IKEA from time to time. There are always some new products.

This place blows my mind! Open large areas, well balanced for traffic, shopping and hanging out! Not like what you would expect of an indoor shopping area for Taiwan. What a fun and relaxing “Hygga” atmosphere (Danish word) for the IKEA feeling of comforting!

So convenient to walk off the MRT and into the store and you can get to restaurants and groceries without walking through the store. If only the trains ran more often. Groceries have expanded a bit.

Good price

Really beautiful, and with a lot of variety to choose from. You can also have things shipped directly to your house, which is nice.

Their cafeteria offers great food at very good prices. The cakes from the cafeteria are amazingly good. Will definitely come back for more. The fudge chocolate cake was out of this world.

The staff were very nice, and helped us set up and complete our order efficiently. The pricing for products is great, and there are many options to choose from depending on your budget. Here you can find great quality budget products, as well as high class products.

The only thing I did not like was that it's kind of hard to navigate around the store. There's signs for everything depending on where you want to go, but the store is so huge that it will take you a while to get to an exit or to the restaurant.

The best IKEA that I’ve been to so far in Taiwan. The layout is absolutely beautiful and the Swedish café is a good place to meet up with friends over ‘Fika’

This shop is one of the big Ikea stores that provide a complete variety of goods in Taipei. Very easy to reach because it is right at the MRT station. The location is very strategic and surrounded by various other shops. This shop is very convenient and the goods are well displayed.

Conveniently connected to the MRT Station. It has 2 floors and is wheelchair accessible. Great selection of items and even a few frozen vegetarian items in their food section. Can't wait to try the plant based hot dogs and meatballs.

As you know, IKEA food just like what we expected. Good, fast, and cheap. I even think the restaurant makes more money than the furniture store.

In the weekdays, it has special price for afternoon during 2-5 pm. Only NT$99 including a piece of cake, chicken wings or fried fish and a glass/ cup of drink. (All you can drink.)

Spacious. Much bigger than East District store. Flow of the walking experience could be improved. Slightly confusing there. Signage for the shortcuts can also be added to be more clear for guests. Amount of showrooms was impressive and the size of the restaurant and addition of the café was very nice.

Typical Ikea shop - very well stocked.

The restaurant is crowded. Expect at least 20mins wait (but really it’s the same in other IKEA). The route is okay, I mean at least you couldn’t get lost in a place like this.. the rest is really sticking to Ikea standard. No complain about it.
Never tried the parking, but make sure you make the right way to its parking entrance, which is on Huanhe road, not Zhongyang Rd.
I’d say the breastfeeding room could be expanded for more. Considering a child friendly place like this.

One of the better IKEAs in the Taipei area. This one has a big beautiful dining room and a relatively navigable showroom, in addition to convenient parking and transport.

There’s also a small cafe, but it can be a bit labyrinthian to figure out how to get there as the entrance and exit are very far from each other. Good luck.

Food in Ikea was always the best

The meatball was definitely a can’t-miss
Also the soup and fried chicken wings were decent

But be aware you might have to wait a while to find a vacant table and to wait in line

I've always been a great fan of IKEA, esepecially their restaurant. They always come up with a special meal once in a while, and most of them are really good. Meatballs are a must-order. However, it's not recommended to go during the weekend. The restaurant is pretty crowded and some people will have problem finding a table.

This IKEA addresses all the main problems of the downtown Taipei location: parking and space. The entire site feels very spacious and relaxing, making you want to slow down and enjoy more.

Beware of the coffee shop trap just when you arrive from the mrt you will find the large cafe shop that look just like the IKEA KITCHEN you find elsewhere but it is the other small overpriced café that trapped the hungry customers, the original one just has to go in through the ikea section 4 shortcut to section 11 enjoy your food.
