GOOD CHO's Xinyi Shop

I was visiting 四四南村 and visited this Cafe which is within 四四南村 compound. Love the bagel soaked with condensed milk and the berry yogurt drink. These are recommended by their friendly staff. Love the nostalgic settings of the cafe, which is spacious (I've brought along a baby stroller).
I went on a Saturday afternoon, which the staff mentioned it is their peak period. Unless you don't mind waiting for 20mins plus, you can consider call to make a reservation.
If you wish to wait, you can walk around the cultural heritage within 四四南村.

I've read some reviews on Google Maps. I couldn't understand why some people rated 1 or 2 stars for this awesome place.

Service is friendly and efficient, food is awesome ( especially the drunken chicken, love it), also the bagels are really good.
Some might say price is a little but high, i think for such quality, definitely worth it.

I'll come back for sure, 10/10.

Creative and delicious bagels were highly commended. Each price was 300s NT dollars. A minimum charge of NT$ 120 was requested. One can stay at most two hours. It is a nice place for brunch.

Bagle dishes are worth taking a try which are not dry or fluffy but al dente. Drinks and desserts are also great and the most important is the service is perfect. Staff are willing to answer any question patiently.

The best bagel I have ever had. As well as the Brown Sugar Au Lait with Sweet Potato. A great place for having a nice lunch and enjoying a historical atmosphere.

They have some of the best bagels in Taipei. Vast selection of MIT food, drinks and handcrafts for souvenirs. Tourist should come.

Delicious freshly baked bagel that are crisp on outside and soft inside. Photographic place... and after eating there are many healthy Good Taiwan products u can purchase home. Recommended for tourist.

Amazing bagels. Soft, chewy and full of flavour in every bite. Sit down at the cafe and order the sampler set for 5 different flavours.

Love to hang out in Good Chos as its only 3 min from my home. Totally a cool place to relax here and enjoy easy food with taste!

Very good place to see and photo Taipei 101 and Good quality of donuts and refreshment. Take some rest here after exploring Taipei101 is acceptable.

Nice location and great interior. The house mixed plate was not a huge success. Scones are only so so. However I strongly recommend one of the bagel dishes. Absolutely delicious. The sweet potato milk drink is also very worth a try. I never miss an opportunity to grab lunch here after a trip to the nearby play house with my kid.

A good place to hang out. Best to go on weekdays (closed on Mondays) as it would be more crowded on weekends due to the Simple Market bazaar. There are many different kinds of bagels such as honey carrot, spinach, double cheese etc, and costs between NT$45 to NT$60. Available for takeaways too. Interior decorations are old school and nostalgic. Do remember to "feed" the piggy coin bank (NT$20) if you are charging your gadgets there.

Really nice, fast and filling bagels. The house made cream cheese, particularly the sweet one is superb and makes the perfect match for a plain or savoury bagel. The coffee is "artisan style"... which in plain English means it's really good but they take their own sweet time to make it, although it's worth the wait ;)

Lovely place. Friendly staff. You can buy some souvenir here too.

Great ambiance, delicious food. There's no bathroom in the building though. Ask the staff to direct you to a nearby parking garage.

We had the jiangjiamien and the drunken chicken. Both were great.

I grew up in New Jersey, where bagels reign supreme, and feel this place made a solid bagel. A bit pricey. I got the duck breast bagel (w/ soup, salad, and special) and lemon ginger spritzer. 👌🇹🇼
