I ordered four main meals, which were full of the sweet and fresh taste of seafood, the truffle cream was rich and fragrant, the chicken breast was cooked perfectly, the outside was crispy and the inside was juicy and tender. Each dish had its own characteristics and was very delicious. I will definitely come back.

It would be great if the menu got pictures on it. Kidda hard to order because the menu is written in chinese. No English at all.
But overall, everthing is good.

A hidden gem in Taichung. Our third visit.

Tried six main courses already and all were great. Finally ordered their two person specials with the prime.

Wow. Wow. Double wow. Nicely done. Crispy on the outside while retaining juicy and moisture. Perfect medium.

Pasta made of potatoes was a treat. The flavors were totally absorbed and abundant.

A must visit if you are in the neighborhood. Or if you are not, would make your while to drive here just for their food.

I just had an amazing dinner at V Di JA! every dish was so delicious I feel like I should pay another visit tomorrow!

The restaurant name is actually Taiwanese when you try to sound it out.. “覓遞家” which literally means “hiding here.” Very fitting considering they’re nestled in a not so popular plaza with residential buildings on the top. I can tell they spent a lot of time researching each ingredient by the details they dive into on the menu.

What I ordered:
Fried free range chicken (Japanese karage style)
beef bolognese gnocchi with cubed chuck steak
Pan-fried duck breast on taro risotto (Taiwanese style)

Upgrading to a set (includes pumpkin soup, appetizer, and dessert)
beer

Everything was beyond amazing. They fried the gnocchi (Italian style containing potatoes) so perfectly that it was soft on the inside but a slight crunch on the surface. It reminded me of the Chinese fried flour balls “雙胞胎”, a nice depiction of western/ eastern fusion.

I can go on and on about every dish, but I don’t want to spoil it for everyone. Service was great, cute decorations of each chef’s travel adventures, and nice music (because it’s what I have on my playlist).

The price is extremely fair. In fact, I’ve just dubbed it “the best bang for the buck” in town.
Overall, very worth the try! I highly recommend it!!

I was so focused on eating the delicious food here that I forget to take pictures! Unique concepts with local products and taiwanese flair.

So far this is the best Italian restaurant in Taichung.
Liked the open kitchen. All ingredients were fresh and nice presentation.
Would like to visit again.

麵疙瘩、透抽沙拉跟甜披薩讓人驚艷！
透抽黃梅醬沙拉的梅醬感雖沒特別明顯，但炙烤過的透抽很美味，菜很新鮮。

干貝蝦麻花麵的麵中炒了蝦米，麵中的蔬菜有較少在義大利麵中看見的茄子跟絲瓜，個人覺得是與在地蔬菜結合的搭配，而且味道諧和👍

家人對麵疙瘩讚不絕口，吃起來很鬆軟有雲朵感；飯後甜點我們點了竹炭作底的水果披薩，風味甜鹹交錯，餅皮是比較柔韌有勁的，工作人員表示披薩是典型羅馬披薩的作法，我個人很喜歡。

此外，廁所乾淨，外帶的包裝也乾淨整潔，
是會再訪的店。

這次回來已是二訪，最喜歡這裡的馬鈴薯疙瘩麵，從前菜就可看出廚師們的用心一點都不馬虎！餐點好吃外又很有氣氛，來這用餐cp值真的很高，特別謝謝當天服務員知道是過紀念日，為我們蛋糕準備小蠟燭也給予祝福💕

🌈🅿停車附近路邊找找，或秀泰、豐樂公園停車場。應該蠻方便。
🌈第一次來因朋友聚會，匆忙未拍菜單，樓下有臨窗高腳椅區、其他多為四人桌、櫃檯、吧台、出餐區、Toilet等，佈置雅緻簡潔。
🌈二樓座位不多，平常日客人不多就沒開放，但可參觀。
🌈餐點並非琳瑯滿目，無論是單點或套餐、飲料等，該有的精華都有，我點楓糖肉桂拿鐵，還不錯喝(^^)，佈滿新鮮水果甜口味的長條狀Piza也很好吃。

今日跟朋友點雙人套餐，個人喜歡前菜（豬肉凍）、竹炭甜披薩多過於主餐，哈。 另外飲料真的調的非常好喝，我們點桂花拿鐵跟紅茶歐蕾，十分順口甜度也剛好👍🏻
門口加裝了玻璃遮光罩（隔板？）覺得用餐更有隱私感，感覺不錯（上一次來時還沒有）

視覺與味覺的饗宴⋯特別的貝殼麵與波浪麵！牛肝菌與松露口味清淡，但讓人想連湯汁都喝掉～提拉米蘇很極致!!

今天點了兩份主餐升級C套餐，還有烤雞翅和烤中卷黃梅醬沙拉，份量足以讓3個女生都吃飽。
沙拉的生菜脆度夠，少許芝麻葉的微苦和碳烤的焦香、黃梅醬的甜甜澀澀蠻搭的，我喜歡這個組合，烤中卷升級澎湖野生中卷有鮮甜也有香氣，火候剛好，碳烤海鮮最怕烤過頭，幸好今天吃到的恰恰好😋

海鮮青醬燉飯的九層塔和蒜味很鮮明，我自己是喜歡的，但是同桌也有人覺得味道過重了一點點，但是整體依然是滿意的一道。

糙米麵可能是麵體本身稍軟，所以沒有意大利麵的彈牙感，不過吸附醬汁的效果也很好，調味也是恰到好處。

附餐的提拉米蘇蠻有誠意的美味，奶酪裡似乎又出現了沙拉當中也看到的楊桃？

鳳梨冰茶對我來說過甜了些，桂花檸檬氣泡飲倒是很喜歡，搭配重口味的餐點正好解膩。

餐點品質和服務都讓人期待再回訪。

餐廳外觀的印象是精緻與高雅，餐廳內的空間雖不很大，卻劃分出了內外的空間，用餐不會受到外界的干擾，牆上的可愛畫作，充滿溫馨與雅致，而餐點更是令人驚艷，非常的美味披薩分成鹹與甜，很驚喜.
