教父牛排 Top Cap Steakhouse

Definitely one of the best steakhouses in Taipei, based solely on the food. One of the best ribeye steaks I've ever had, and cooked absolutely to perfection. It's a smaller place, so reservations are advised, but we were lucky enough to get a table on a weekday for lunch without one. Decor is upscale but understated, and service was impeccable. We will definitely be going back.

This was my second time at Top Cap and the food and service has been excellent both times. When you order a main course, it comes with an appetizer, soup, dessert, and choice of coffee or tea. For appetizer, I got the seared tuna and it was prepared just right... slightly seared on the edges and raw on the inside. For my soup, I got mushroom soup and it was excellent. For my main entree, I got the 6oz filet mignon, medium rare. It was very tender and flavorful. For dessert, I got the apple pie. Service throughout our meal was excellent.

The best steak in Taipei! Honestly speaking it is really expensive. The cheapest steak option is like TW$2,000 per head. However, the quality is definitely really high and you won’t regret.

This is one of the most fantastic steakhouses I have visited in the world (well, chiefly Taiwan and the United States). First, I must note that I do not understand those diners who are complaining about the price; this is an almost Michelin Starred restaurant (meaning that one of its Godfather of Steaks 教父牛排 steakhouse did win a star), and they know that coming into this well-priced restaurant. Anyways, it is indeed pricy but reasonable, as the servers are well-trained and service enjoyable. It has an open kitchen, and you can see the wine collection and the steaks in their dry-aging process. The ambiance is easy going yet with class, and the sittings are specious enough for the diners to chat with privacy. The restrooms are outside of the restaurant in the back alley, which is a little be weird, but that did not bother me too much. We brought our own wine, so I could not comment on their selection of wine, but they did provide a decanter, which a lot of high-end restaurants do not even do. The servers know the right time to come clean up, refill beverage, and serve new dishes without interrupting us too much. The steaks were delicious and juicy with a degree of leanness, but I personally did not like how they serve steaks on a cast iron pan; that however did not bother me too much, though. The sides were all great. In sum, the evening at Top Cap was very enjoyable, and I will definitely visit here again.

This place located in 信義 A4 and 168 are our favorite steakhouses. 教父 Top Cap's Australian wagyu ribeye is out if this world. Other cuts are also outstanding. The appetizer oyster gratin and the dessert brownie with ice cream a la mode are just wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

Service and food quality were excellent. No matter you are here for business, date or celebration, Top Cap Steakhouse is suitable for all those occasions. We will definitely come visit again.

The restaurant is opened by one of Taiwan beef expert. The waiters is well trained with nice classic decor. The beef is grilled at the exact level you want!

The Michelin-starred steakhouse restaurant is the best in Taipei. And Mushroom Cappuccino is a dish that must try!

" Danny& Company " definitely is the one and only steak house that can represent the steak culture in Taipei ! Top cap is another new restaurant brand directly operated by the Danny& Company group .Like my previous experience in other D&C restaurants , the Top Cap steak , service and dessert are never fail to impress my stomach ! If you are a business traveler , stay for a short time but craving for some real good meat . Come to Top Cap !

Bread is amazing, steak is very delicious. Dessert also wonderful. Everything is perfect here.

We had Australia ribeye steak and Japanese Wagyu fillet mignon, both done to medium Rare. Both dishes is delicious. Service (mr Morris) is attentive and efficient with pleasant demeanor. To us the dining experience here is better than Taipei’s Morton + S&Wollensky

Food was great! Staff are very nice and helpful. Lunch meals comes with set meals which is more affordable.
However, Soup was a bit disappointed.

Nice lunch set. Price if less than 2000 Twd per person is ok for me. With all appetizer. Desert. Soup. Latte. Main course. It's course menu so expect to take longer than 1 hour and half. I like the salt here to use with beef. Will come back again.

Nice leisurely business lunch. Had the escargots which were nice and the NY strip which was flavourful.
