海灘叢林 A Beach

After attending a pizza competition event in Taipei, we went to this place for lunch. Initially, I became interested (when I found it in google) because of the style and aesthetics. I didn't expect too much from the food but it didn't disappoint me so I'm giving 5-stars for the following reasons:

1. The atmosphere feels good. In the hustle of the city, their ambiance provides a more slow-paced and relaxing feeling.
2. It's family-friendly. My little boy enjoyed sitting on the artificial sand/corals, playing with his toy truck while waiting for our food.
3. The food was F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C. Finally, something we ate made us feel happy and satisfied. (Food description in photo captions)
4. The wine was amazing. Forgot the name but it was a German red. Dry, dark, oaky, medium tannin. It leaves a fruity note in the tongue.
5. The service was good. We didn't make a reservation and they were full but they told us they would check all the other reservations if they could squeeze us in.. and so they did. But I advise that you make a reservation ahead of time.

NOTE: Do not wear high heels if you don't want to have a hard time walking like I did. 😅😂

The restaurant is very spacious with cute decor. It does remind you of a laid back beach. The food and drinks are great. The Taiwanese Sesame Oil Chicken Risotto was different and delicious. We also liked the Shrimp Paste Risotto with Scallops & Cheese.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here and the staff was very helpful. They prepared a birthday cheese cake with a pretty candle. Overall a great experience.

Very cute decor. Loved the honey lemon black tea ( for tea lovers, I would highly recommend). Really cozy place, beautiful presentation and lovely staff. The girl that attended us was really sweet and friendly.
There is a minimum spend rule, so better not to go after meals (not just for desserts or drinks)

I had a wonderful dinner here. The space very beautiful,service good and the food is excellent. The price not too high and I will return here again and again😊👍💯

Convenient location right near taipei world trade center MRT exit3. Very chill atmosphere with beach and cactus decorations. Recommend to come here in sunny days and reserve cactus seats beforehand for good photos. Meals and drinks are unexpectedly tasty and delicate. Staffs are friendly and willing to take pictures when you ask. It also offers a free cake if you come here for birthday celebration. Meal time is unlimited till 5pm.

Perfect place for friend's gathering or celebration. The vibes are good and staff were friendly. They offer a variety of food from truffles fries, salad, pizza, pasta, risotto and finger licking wings! It's an ideal place for a great catch up with family and friends.

Just like the name of the restaurant: A beach😊 Feels like dinning at a beach (with air conditioning) even better👏👏 ppl serving the table very friendly and meals are great!!

Had a great experience with gumgum! The atmosphere during weekdays is chill and relaxing. Must order their wings and fries. Half way through the wings, one of my drumstick was a little red near the bone, they immediately returned it to the kitchen and assured me that it was cook. Nonetheless, they served us a new plate with 8 full pieces again. Professional trained staff. We will definitely come back again.

Very cute place with great atmosphere

Today we went for my daughter’s birthday celebration and for my surprise they had a complementary generous piece of cake. We love coming here for the yummy food and fun atmosphere! Really recommend coming for celebration!!

4/19 we mixed up our reservation but the servers still help us to get a table ! Great food ! Great atmosphere! And friendly services

Good atmosphere for friends / family reunion. Food is good and the serving time is suitable. Will try deserts and beers next time.

Better than expected! Would like to go back soon! :)
