You can buy different grade of chocolate in this place. There is a dressing room for you to change into Prince or princess, and move around the place to take photo. Some interactive games for you to play and you can even collect a candy after the finishing the chocolate making machine. A cafe for you to rest your legs or enjoy an ice cream.

The castle is so beautiful! We visited the production area and saw first hand how chocolates are produced. We even got free chocolates! after a 15 minutes chocolate show. It was fun. There were beautiful costumes for adults and children, to take pictures in and enough space for children to play around. It was an amazing experience!! 🤩

Edit- Thank you for your response. I personally don't think this place is catered towards people actually interested in chocolate because the exhibits are not very educational, but of course that can always be improved. I just wanted to set expectations so people could come with that mindset and have a good time. The chocolates don't taste like high quality to me, especially relative to the price. However, that is fine because this is a tourist destination and not a chocolate shop so prices are bound to be higher.

Customer service told my parents that there are costumes that you can wear to go about the castle. They came back in a few seconds all dressed up. At first, I was a bit too lazy to put on a frock but of course, I had to match with the rest of my family. There was only one dress left; it was purple, perfect to match with my purple hair! 💜

The price of the cooler bags you can exchange for each ticket is worth the price of the admission alone. Because you have to remember these are striped souvenir bags with a zipper and the logo emblazoned on it.

Yes, the whole concept of this castle 🏰 is a bit gimmicky but there are real cocoa trees outside this establishment, with real cocoa beans!!! 🫘 One doesn't see that everyday.

They have some touchscreen games that you can use to get a free piece of chocolate next to the chocolate process. There is also a pricey but pretty cafe on one of the upper floors. Souvenir shop is near the exit (of course). You can a slight discount with your admission ticket but the products will still be vastly overpriced.

its such a nice place to visit! although the name is chocolate castle n they do sell chocolate but the whole idea does not really revolve around “chocolate”. i think the most interesting part abt this place is the architecture itself. The ice cream was NT$430 - if im not mistaken. it tasted soooo mid but it does look aesthetically appealing.

Really worth the experience: there is an interactive experience where you have to win your own chocolate.
The process to create a chocolate is explained.
Then you can eat some ice cream or drink chocolate with the same level of quality of what can it be found in France (the chocolate is really good compared to what is usually found in Asia)
The really best experience is that you can dress yourself in some dress costume and then take pictures all around the castle.

Definitely worth checking out! Especially if you are chocolate lover and/or if you have kids. Fun experience and amazing chocolate! Reasonable price and free parking.

Nina Chocolate is located at Nantou towards Sun Moon Lake, offers award winning chocolate. They have many unique flavours created to showcase Taiwan culture such as black tea, tie guan yin and many others.

There is an outdoor relaxing area, level 3 display of chocolate making and interactive board of chocolate history. The level 3 is a short introduction of chocolate. Do not expect a whole lots of chocolate history.

Level 2 is a cafe and a DIY chocolate room. Ticket are sold separately for the DIY chocolate session.

Level 1 is where you can borrow clothes to look like a 80s French. Sales of chocolate and glass room to see a master making chocolate.

Excellent experience with free costumes to try on and chocolate presentation at 3pm (1 free chocolate sample after presentation!) Highly recommended for photography and experience. Just wish they washed the costumes as it was really dirty (white costume was black with dirt)

A nice attraction for families and couples to visit and satisfy your chocolate cravings. You may choose to dress like a prince/ princess at the first floor before the tour. Foods and sweets are provided at the second floor. If you are a chocolate lover, this is a must visit.

It's a high quality dining castle for eating and having funs, it's the first time I got so many fantastic dark chocolate ice cream... Must go if you're the chocolover..
