Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area

Lovely trail that is slightly tougher than it looks. The strongman slope will test your endurance. The suspension bridge is a welcome sight to behold. It makes you want to stop and drink in the view.

Gorgeous forest area to take your family. The forest is vast and you can see many trails and scenic areas in 3 hours or more. Restaurant provides good food. We paid 500 ntd for two people.

A worthwhile trip to spend some quality time in Nature. I recommend you arrive in the park around the morning time to avoid larger crowds, especially if you want to cross the suspension bridge! We arrived there are 9:30-10 and there were not so many people when we first crossed. But when we went back over the bridge around Noon, it had 30 people all trying to take selfies.

Best spot to watch Maple leaf in Taiwan. Although , after the maple season there is nothing to do here, however the ranger told us this place has various kind of bird, people come to watch the bird and study about nature here.

Scenery is beautiful if you like nature and fresh air. Hiking trails are easy and well maintained. Serenity.

A great place for relaxation! But not for everyone..cuz if you want to visit you'll need to have a car to go there..there's no public transportation..but for me..it's worth it!

Kind of in the middle of nowhere but really worth your visit if you come at the right times for the maples and cherry blossoms.

Fantastic tree trails with great scenery, make sure to go on a nice day and take some good photos on the rope bridge!

Great place, just be ready fir windy roads before arriving

Great place, not many people there. But they missing a lot

Despite the rain and the loud cicadas persistent buzz from forest we enjoyed the trails, the extremely high suspension bridge, and the variety of birds. And the monkeys. The paths are easy with some stairs. To get there from Wushe needs about 40 minutes of narrow winding roads.

Remote, so far away from the usual crowds. Nice woods, special singing birds and beautiful view scenery. Highly recommended for families too, easy trails.

The foliage isn't in full swing yet but the hiking trails with mild to medium difficulties are full of surprising sceneries.

It's a great place not only for hiking but also for beautiful maple. If you want to see maple, check the website before visiting. Good for one or two days trip at here.

A remote area where we can appreciate the beauty and nature. Cool in in night time of summer but hot in the morning. Look up the sky and easily to see shining stars. Very good place to visit.
