Taipei City Mall

A pretty large underground shopping center with shops that mainly sell anime and video games related products, and all things nerdy. There are also various souvenir shops and massage parlors. There are several exits along the way that will take you to different places including the MRT stop to the airport.

Plenty of gashapon/gachapon! Only interested if it's AOT, so far I only found five different series of it. And found more unique series like Tatung rice cooker, refrigerator miniature, mad aunties, water faucet, etc.

Also, if you explore enough you'll notice that some place have cheaper gashapon/gachapon price. For example, my tiny AOT figurine is 150NT but I found one place with the same figurine, only 100NT 😂

I recently visited Taipei City Mall and overall, I had a positive experience.

Firstly, I was impressed with the size and layout of the mall. It is vast and has a wide variety of shops, ranging from international brands to local boutiques. The mall is well-maintained and clean, making it a pleasant environment to shop in.

One aspect that stood out to me was the diverse range of dining options available. There were numerous restaurants and food courts offering a variety of cuisines, catering to different tastes and preferences. I particularly enjoyed trying out some local Taiwanese dishes, which were delicious and reasonably priced.

In terms of shopping, I found that the mall had a good mix of high-end and affordable stores. There were plenty of options for clothing, accessories, electronics, and more. I had no trouble finding what I was looking for and was pleased with the quality of the items I purchased.

Additionally, the mall has excellent transportation connectivity. It is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station, making it easily accessible by public transportation. I appreciated this convenience as it made my visit hassle-free.

One area where I feel the mall could improve is in its signage and navigation. Although there are maps available, it can still be a bit confusing at times to find specific stores or sections within the mall. Clearer signage and more detailed directions would be beneficial for visitors.

Overall, my visit to Taipei City Mall was enjoyable. It offers a great shopping and dining experience, with a wide range of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this mall to anyone visiting Taipei.

Great underground mall near Taipei Main station. A lot of video game stores at one end with some clothing and food shops at the other end. Always some trinket stores. Fun to walk around and see things.

Located underground of Taipei MRT Station ; Plenty of clawing machines, gashapon, video games and foods available. Saw a lot of people queueing for Duroyal ice-cream and eating aside. It costs 35 TWD for two scoops, 25 TWD for one scoop, hence we went for two scoops (Yam and Mango). It tastes good and cheap at the same time !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experience at City Mall. Easily could spend a day there! We bought mainly clothes, underwears and luggages. Staffs go above and beyond helping customers and very patient with us trying sizes. Language barrier wasn't an issue. Highly recommended!

This must be the longest mall I've ever been to, I think it's as long as 1 km. There are various decorations, clothing and snacks sold here.

Most of the items are repetitive and the items sold are being categorized by zones, so you would be seeing the same thing for quite some time before you move to another zone.

A friendly advice would be to buy whatever you want before you move too far away as you will have to walk all the way back in a very long lane...

Most shops only open after 11am.

Here has so many different shops, like crystal shops, game shops, shoes shops, bags shops and clothes shops. Also, here has restsurants of many different kind of food.

It's the under ground street, you will feel comfortable when outside is too hot, too cold or raining.

It's quite big let you spend all day here.

This place deserves to be better known! Plenty of video game stores, figurines, arcades, clothes and food. Very small prices compared to anywhere else in the city. The mall looks endless and is very lively. We switched from quiet and desert streets to the underground madness, and we jumped in it.

The rain can't stop you from exploring the underground world....grab some snacks and get ready for a fun-filled walk. Watch out for cute advertisement boards.
No need to worry about direction. People are super friendly and direction boards up above the hallway are pretty convenient.
Heaven for anime and manga lovers. Nice place to get some sovenier as well.

Our first meal in Taipei was at the ramen place which seemed humble and unassuming but I tell you the food it was pleasantly surprising and mind blowing. Recommended to try! Loads of gachapon here, as well as ichinankuji stalls to check out and try your luck. Overall clean and accessible, just walk from the mrt station of Taipei metro. There were also lockers around the vicinity to store your luggage’s while you shop and walk around or eat.

I was feeling like a little bit hungry while I was walking around the Taipei city mall so I was looking for some cheep snack to fill up my stomach. Finally I found a Taiwanese food stand near Y20 exit. I ordered stewed meet rice to the man who seemed to be the master then he answered me with a little Japanese and recommended me to add stewed egg. Look at this picture guys, this only costs 40NTD including 10NTD boiled egg with hot soy souse poured on it as you like. Tastes great!

This special kind of economy in Taipei influenced by Japan generates a lot of impact on the habits of youth, the relationship between friends and family, the visitors’ flow in Taipei city mall which locates underground between two subway stations near Taipei main station. Taipei city mall attracts a lot of foreign labors on holidays to have a networking and friends gathering, those workers mainly come from South Asia, such as Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. They help the Taiwanese family and factory owners a lot. Thanks for their contribution to Taiwan.

One the best malls I've been to. Underground, goes on for miles in nice straight lines each station has different cultures attached to each mall. It's just so much fun to chill and dance competitions, gaming and then eating and shopping.

Amazing, unexpected and fascinating shopping experience. Nothing else like it in Taiwan.
