空總在建國玉市旁，最初是總督府工業研究所，1949年空軍總司令部。2018年啟動規劃［臺灣當代文化實驗場］。
大門是白紅相間的崗哨與圍牆，非常搶眼，進入後有第二道崗哨。這裡腹地很大，有好幾棟建築物，除了看展覽，適合散步、探索。
這次參加［空總有點草］工作坊，由野草稍慢執行。介紹大門口超過3樓高的玉蘭花樹，榕樹廣場附近，被榕樹“絞殺”的尤加利樹，有棵樹上長了一階一階很像靈芝的真菌。
圖書館前方，特別圍起來的野草區，認識可食用的草如田菁（吃豆子）、咸豐草的花、像香菜的小草。粗莖葉煮成湯，嫩的燙過，放在煮好的糙米飯上，沖入野草湯，很有草味ㄟ（廢話）。（2023.11.19）

空軍總部舊址，跟著華山、松菸等成功成為著名文創園區後，另外在台北市區出現的一塊公共的藝文空間，特別是被帝寶、吾疆、以及新建完成的台北之星等豪宅所圍繞，實屬難得。
園區內特色，當然是因為保留了空軍總部建築，到處可見空軍軍徽。園區內常舉辦各項展覽，很建議規劃在假期時來參觀，搭配前往附近的假日花市、東區的逛街行程。

地方寬廣，有假日市集和文創表演。不過大部分建築物都在整建，大概要到2024年11月。

超優質的台灣文博會展區，園區內的帳篷則是表演場地，看表演需要購票入場，看展覽則是免費入場，晚上還會有燈光秀，非常值得一來。
