We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Delicious and tasty breakfasts , the buffet had an extensive choice of asian and western food. Our room (premier king) was perfect for our long stay. We will come back!

I love the hotel design and the pool.

There are 5 star hotels and then there is the Mandarin Oriental. Really great atmosphere with tasteful decorations and lots of thoughtful details like extra charging cords in the room, gift for our child, diptyque toiletries (made our hair smell amazing, hahaha), etc. etc.

Spa was fabulous. Massage was epically relaxing (Oriental Essence, if you are wondering). The digital detox coloring (is there anything more satisfying than perfectly sharp colored pencils?) in the lounge is another example of the thoughtful details in the hotel.

I only ate at the cake store and breakfast restaurant, both of which were great. Good selection and availability, with excellent service.

Definitely coming again our next trip to Taipei!

One of the best hotel I have stayed.
Luxury, classic, specious.
Smooth and warm check in at the front desk, all staff here treated the guests like their VIPs, one staff and the other carry your belongings they walked you to the front door of the hotel and hold the door opened for you, as well as open and close doors for you when your ride arrives. It’s a bit overwhelming as I use to carry luggages myself, it’s really nice gesture tho.

Room size is bigger than a one bedroom apartment, nicely divided into a few section, walkin robe, shower, bathtub, seperate toilet, bar area, sofa, lay flat lounge, business desk…the King bed and the pillow are super comfy, AC is nice and cold.

The buffet breakfast comes with make to order options on the menu, wide variety of dishes, drinks and fresh fruits, to bad that I wasn’t hungry the morning when I stayed, or I could have eaten more, yum.

I also booked the SPA treatment when I staying the hotel, professional therapist, it was so comfy and I felt asleep during the treatment, highly recommended to book yourself a SPA session here to relax.

Convenient location, 5 mins walk to closest MRT, heaps of restaurants around the area. It’s not in the CBD location so after office hours the street is quieter and give you a nice chill mood. Btw, if you are lucky, you can see Taipei 101 through your window as well.

Overall, I would give them 10 out of 10, the only thing I can really pick on was the milk for in-room coffee machine could have been better, they use those little capsule of cream balls instead of fresh milk, this maybe something to upgrade down the road?

This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in East Asia. This is better than most 5 star luxurious hotels. It’s just another level. Breakfast, lounge, room, service, everything, it was all amazing! Would definitely recommend it to anyone I know coming to Taipei!

The airport pickup and drop off was professionally arranged. Everything went without any incidents. The concierge team was wonderful and the breakfast staff and restaurant staff was very caring. That’s what I appreciate about mandarin oriental. Staff is a significant key for a comfortable stay. Also thanks to the professional housekeeping team, which paid attention to detail.

I’ll definitely return in March and November and I’m looking forward to returning to that wonderful hotel!

Lovely customer service experience. We had some hiccups with our booking and they were more than accommodating. The food at the restaurant is fantastic as well.

Come back to one of my favourite Mandarin Oriental after three years of Covid
Though as a hotel of almost 10 years the facility is still keeping well
And always enjoyed the detailed oriented services
People suggested me to try some new hotels but I have to say this MO will still be my top choices especially with the trees along Dunhua N Road

Great rooms and decent hotel. Could be more centrally located closer to social life.

luxurious five-star hotel with high-quality shampoo, comfortable bed, well-mannered service and delicious food. the gym is big and full of diversed equipment for me to use. the pool with sauna is opened from 8am to 8pm and the water is warm. i’m impressed by the penhaligon shampoo they offered! nice stay!!

The best in Taipei!!! Incredible rooms, staff, breakfast, service etc. No detail is left unaddressed. I would also like to specially recognize Rita & Kris for their incredible check-in's at breakfast!! Rita went above and beyond bringing our son coloring and a big highlight of our time in Taiwan was seeing how excited he was to speak with her each morning!!

I think there’s an error in google review, this hotel should be 5 STARS!!! It’s way better than any Conrad, Hilton or Waldorf that we’ve stayed!!

Firstly, they greet you by your surname at breakfast, room service phone calls and at the front desk. It made the experience more personal. Next, the rooms were TOP-TIER!! There are TV speakers at the bathrooms so that you can continue watching the TV while enjoy soaking in your bathtub.

Room service was splendid as well! They gave us a personal gift each time they made the room neat. We loved how they put a towel below the hotel slippers so that our feet wouldn’t touch the carpet.

In addition, the spa service was splendid! Unbeatable worldwide!

This is simply a great hotel. Very nice and quiet rooms, grrat design and plenty of space in the rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent. Top notch spa and massage facilities. Beautiful pool. I really enjoy my stay here, when I come back to Taipei I will be staying here again.

Excellent hotel.The whole stay was superb: room, service and staff were top. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful rooms but the lack of a decent lobby just makes the whole hotel feel like an upscale bed and breakfast. Stayed with a toddler and while they went above and beyond accommodating the room with a crib, baby toiletries and even a plush toy, some of the hotel restaurants don't allow small children which really limits what you can enjoy at the hotel.
The hotel staff was very accommodating when I needed to use the business center after hours. The breakfast buffet doesn't have too many options but most items are superior in quality, especially their pastries and baked goods.

Surely you can’t go wrong with Mandarin Oriental, but the MO in Taipei was something exceptional. We stayed there four nights during the winter holidays last December. The interior absolutely exquisite and we can say the same about the hotel staff.

Special thanks to Howard Huang - he was so attentive, helpful, and extremely professional! It was essential having his guidance throughout our stay in Taipei and he also helped us with transportation to our next destinations in Taiwan - he arranged everything for us. With any questions and concerns we had we didn’t worry because we knew Howard will solve them all.

We highly recommend MO in Taipei because it was a true piece of art, probably the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels, including other MO’s)! The rooms are spotless clean, the breakfast is absolutely delicious and is a truly gourmet buffet with traditional(!) Taiwanese cuisine, which we really appreciated! The location is also great (the nearest metro station is only about 10 min walk, and the metro in Taipei is as convenient as it gets)! If we ever get the chance to come back to Taipei again, MO Taipei is the only place where we’ll stay. And thanks again to Howard!!

Immaculate customer service. Jacky took the time to greet and check me in. I landed early and needed a freshen up. Jacky told me I could use their facilities while I wasn’t due for check in time. Explained everything with patience and I was shown to the elevator and walked to the facility. The facility came with a shower and sauna! How fantastic to refresh after a 12 hour flight. I am now a fan.

The unsung heroes that cleaned my room were perfecto. They even arranged my toiletries in order and decorated them with orchids. Spotless in cleanliness. I have never seen them around - that’s discrete. I believe the gentleman who came to assist me multiple times during my stay was Jonathan. It was also very early like 4am when I requested help. He was very kind and even offered to refill my water bottles as I used them all. The room was well equipped with modern offerings - it was decorated with great taste and not overly extravagant. They gave careful thoughts to their decorations and designs! They have turn down service that is so important these days that many hoteliers forgotten. MO did it. The only thing about the room is the soft pillows which they would definitely change had I requested.

The breakfast team were fantastic. They just knew when to serve us and leave us in peace. The breakfast varieties were just amazing - changed daily. Christopher - thank you for your attentive service with a smile. Their healthy choices are 👍👍👍. I just wished they open at 6am that would make early travelers 🧳 much better.

Location is not too closed to many hustle bustle shopping malls but their services made up for everything. The market is near. 711 is across the street so do many small eateries. Their desserts at MO bakery is a must to try. They even packed take out with ice packs!

MO Bar - I had a great time and learned a lot about cocktails from Jeff the bar tender - sorry if I remember your name wrong. Thank you for making Lady’s side car my new favorite drink. Your knowledge on your drinks is like a dictionary! The thing is you can describe and custom to my taste - this is impressive.

Swimming pool is heated and very good service. The server came with drinks and towels to your seat! Please try their Spa…thank you Kit and Nikko for serving me. Kit, your smile has an lasting image in me. Nikko, I will be back for my deep tissue massage.

I think what makes a good 5 stars hotel is their entire team flawless service. They all wear genuine smiles to greet you without discrimination. I have stayed at many top hotels in XinYi and ZhongShan districts throughout the past years. MO Taipei is on point and stayed relevant to travelers like me. I don’t have to look further as I am now a loyal Fan of MO.

It’s the best in Taipei in term quality and service experience. Love the location too and the quietness of the hotel . The one star Michelin Cantonese restaurant was really good . The afternoon tea set was an art to even look at the spread of the nice dessert. Must book with breakfast and you will not regret it .
