Dandy Hotel Daan Park

I won the Taiwan Lucky Draw and used the accommodation voucher to stay in this hotel. The location is strategic, very very near to Daan Park bus Stop, Daan Park MRT (Red line), 7 eleven, and family mart. They provide basic amenities like toiletteries, hair dryer, iron/iron board (by request). 3 washing machines and 3 dryers in laundry room next to the receptionist counter are also available for free.
Receptionists are very helpful and polite. There is no communication problem as most of the receptionists can speak English pretty well. We left for Taichung for a night, and they helped us to keep the heavy luggage. I can not comment much on breakfast as we skipped it due to food restriction (we are muslim by the way). Really hope Dandy Hotel can provide Muslim friendly food in the future.
Overall, we are enjoying our stay and hopefully can stay there again when we go to Taiwan!

Such a convenient location, being “next door” to an MRT station and 7/11, located across the street from the park. Rooms were clean and offered standard amenities. Breakfast included a generous spread of western and Taiwanese options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s even laundry machines on site for guests to use.

Really loved our stay here. Staff is courteous and professional. Room was very clean and location is right next to subway foe easy transportation.

Clean, good location, friendly service. Was undergoing renovations when we visited so the lobby was fairly compact. Nextdoor to subway (literally 10 second walk) as well as 7-11 store for beer and alcohol. Adjacent to Daan park. Location cannot be beat.

Near the train station, near a nice park, near din tai feng also. Haha. currently under Reno, above noisy in the lobby area. The breakfast served is not bad.

A very nice and comfy hotel, with laundry service and nearby amenities. I strongly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Taipei.

We stayed at Hotel Dandy for four nights and really liked it. The best parts of the hotel are its centralized Da’an Park location and all inclusive facilities such as free breakfast, free on-site laundry/dryer machines, and other various in-room amenities (toothbrushes, combs, slippers, shoe cleaning towels, water etc.)

The room we booked was small but was comfortable and had everything we needed. They also have free parking if you need it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, shut out to Alice for making extensive recommendations for our Hualien trip!

They also have an airport shuttle service and they’ll pack your breakfast to go if your flight is early in the morning, which was very convenient.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and they really try to know their guests in order to give more personalized service. Rooms are clean and modern, with most common amenities in stock. They have a tasty breakfast buffet available too, with a selection of both western and eastern items to choose from. Stayed here during Chinese New Years, and they offered a free new year's dinner to all guests which was a thoughtful surprise. It's located right next to an MRT entrance, so all of Taipei is easily accessible.

Fantastic hotel. I was there on a business trip for almost a week. The front-desk attendants are extremely helpful, friendly and super efficient. The rooms are also clean, organized and comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast is also very decent. They offer some traditional Chinese options as well as western food. Maybe a point for improvement would be to have some more cheese/ham options. The hotel is very well located. In front of the Daan Park (majestic place.go visit it) and less than minute from MRT (red line). Easy to reach the main station. There is also a 7-11, and subway near the hotel. this makes it very convenient. One suggestion for guests staying over the weekend, go visit the Jianguo Flower Market nearby. A very fantastic place to explore some local things and also to buy some decoration ornaments or souvenirs.

Great, friendly , helpful staff who made recommendations for places to shop and eat, helped us translate over the phone when trying to book a different hotel in another city.

Breakfast was delicious - many options. And when I made a comment that I wish there were century old eggs to accompany the congee , they magically were brought to our table when we returned several says later for our final few nights in Taiwan.

The self service laundry machines were just what we needed and the private car to the airport was very pleasant .

Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and heated toilet seats were a nice touch.

Right across the street from MRT station and a 10 min walk to Yong Kang shopping street and restaurants.

We stay at the hotel from April 7 to the 13th. Very happy with the hotel we have chosen, all staff are very friendly and helpful. Free laundry room provided was fantastic. Hotel is closed to subway line and convenient located in downtown Taipei. Will stay again in the future.

Great hotel. Conveniently located. Surrounded by convenient store, pharmacy, restaurants, etc... Not to mention Din Tai Fung 3 min walking distance. Service is excellent at this hotel. Staff are always ready to help with everything. There are English speaking staff. They even went all out to research the destinations that we could go see Cherry Blossoms and advised which places not to go because they were already past peak bloom. The gentleman even provided a detailed map. Laundry service, snacks, breakfast, bottled water and WiFi are all FREE. What more can one ask for?

One of the best 3 Star hotels 🏨 in Taipei, their service is really good, decent pricing, excellent complimentary continental breakfast 😀, rooms were spacious, even during weekends the prices were nominal, we had a really great time in the hotel, they also allowed me to sit in the lobby after the checkout time to attend my online meeting...
They also have this complimentary coffee machine and water machine where the guest can have it for free...

They are located very near to a MRT station, 7 eleven and many more around the place.

The service is excellent the hotel, is very clean and the breakfast has a large selection that changes daily. The MRT is right outside of the hotel so it is convenient to get around and the large park is right across the street. I came for the pokemon event and the hotel went all out promoting the event with decorations and food. Could not of picked a better place. Will definitely return again.

The staff here are top notch and treat you like family, taking care of whatever you need with competence and kindness. Not to mention the fresh and varied breakfast buffet with wonderfully cooked dishes and attentive service. Unparalleled at this price point. And right at the edge of the beautiful daan park -- what an absolute gem. Thank you for making the trip so nice for my entire family. The other places we are staying at dont even compare.

I always stay Dandy hotels when I traveled to Taipei (only exception was no rooms available). Comfortable and not too small room, friendly service, abundant breakfast and welcoming drinks, clean bathroom, towel and other necessary amenities are all included in the fair price. This hotel located right across Da-an park which is spacious park in Taipei city. Subway station is just next to the hotel which is very good lactation. You also can find 7-11(convenient store) downstairs.

Since it’s not the first time I stayed with this hotel, there is a reason i must spent time to write this 5 star review: I checked out this morning quite early, but 20 mins later, one unexpected situation happened to me and i called the hotel if i could go back to hotel and rest a bit more, and they say yes!!!

Cute hotel, friendly staffs, great location with reasonable price. We stay at Dandy Daan all the time when we visit Taipei. Highly recommend!!

People are lovely here in Taipei in general and the Dandy hotel is no exception. They are very thoughtful and helpful. I will come back to the Dandy Hotel and explore this amazing place. Even though Taiwan’s electric grid works on 220 V, they accommodate everyone.
