Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei

For business and pleasure both, my experience with the Hotel Metropolitan is such a good start to the year, I hope it sets the pace for what's to come! I brought my gallery and gallery staff to participate in the world-class event, ONE ART Taipei this week, renting rooms for the art show, and for overnight sleeping. Staff, customers, artists, and other galleries we network with were all delighted with the world-class hotel service. Our setup and load-out was without a hitch. The hotel sales staff checked in regularly to ensure our needs were met. The neighborhood is upscale... but full of Taiwan-only gems! And did I mention, this all led to having great sales and doing great business! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Taipei, or for your next meeting or event.

lastly Location wise is a great spot! around a 5 mins walk to a station!

Best hotel experience I can think of having. Very very happy with the staff - such good service (and coming from the US, not having to deal with tips was so pleasant).

Ate at all the restaurants there. Hayase Kaiseiki and Chinese food were A-level. Breakfast buffet was like a B+. There is a lot of good food nearby and the location is very convenient.

Pool and sauna are great too.

Superb service!! When we were walking towards the hotel with our luggage, from a distance, the bell boy rushed to us from the entrance and helped us to push the luggage and carry our hand carry bags. Once we entered the hotel receptionist, every staff bowed to us and greeted us making us feel very welcome. The manager immediately addressed us and assign a receptionist to handle our bookings. Interior looks exactly like what it supposed to be a 5 star hotel and felt very luxurious. Only downside is its facing the road so some muffled sound can be heard.

We spent four nights here for a vocation and the overall experience was wonderful despite on the night of arrival, the floor was shaking due to some maintenance work of the swimming pool (We stayed on level 8 and the pool locates on level 9) and we were immediately offered an upgrade and moved to level 12. The service is superb and every staff is quite helping and attentive. My personal rating matches their current rate as at 16/12/2023 which is 4.5/5

A very very kid friendly hotel. Strongly recommend to others if you are traveling with kids. Lots of local food nearby. There is not a need to plan in advance and you can just enjoy the local culture and experience as you arrive.

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights in November 2023. It is a very clean, comfortable and friendly environment hotel. It’s restaurants are very well. We had a dinner and a lunch at its Japanese restaurant and it’s service is excellent and food is very good and delicious. We really recommend this Japanese restaurant if you want to try fine Japanese food in Taipei. It’s breakfast buffet is one of the best hotel breakfast.

This hotel did not disappoint! A lot of 5-star hotels only have 5 stars on paper but this one clearly is above all expectations. There is always someone welcoming you at the door and before you know it someone else is calling the lift for you so you don’t even have to do anything. I spent three weeks in Asia and this hotel was the best I’ve stayed at.

Fantastic stays at executive premier room this time with nice quality of room equipments and toiletries in the bathroom, good sleep at night. Service are excellent! Feels like I was in Japan, every is friendly and polite. There’re various choices of drinks and food at the executive lounge, I could spend 2 hours after check out there and I enjoyed it. I have introduced some of my frds overseas to stay here when they visit Taipei.

Stayed here for a week. An excellent hotel. Breakfast was nice and hearty, the Executive Lounge provided a great afternoon recharge after tiring days of sightseeing, cozy beds, and above all, Ava L at the concierge desk gave us top notch recommendations and advice every day.

A must stay hotel on your visit to Taipei!

Metropolitan Taipei has been our choice of stay whenever we visit Taipei. Location, cistomsr service and cleanliness of hotel are awesome. Special thanks to the Hotel staff, King Lin 林澐凱 who is always amicable and ready to serve hotel guests professionally and promptly. We shall be back in near future.

Excellent service. They provided kid bathrobe, slippers, and a set of toothbrush and toothpastes upon request. All sockets are multi socket plugs and a pair of USB ports.

Me & my friend have stayed in their executive premier twins for 7 nights, over the 1st week of September. Our overall experience is utterly enjoyable.
Room is well presented and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are soft yet supportive, I slept throughout the nights. Amenities are abundant, using Clinique products. Hotel also offers separate sets of bathrobes and pajamas. Soundproof is GREAT. We are at a corner of level 12, didn't hear anything!
Access to the executive lounge is a truly pleasant experience. Always felt homecoming when we finished a day of sightseeing or shopping. The manager of executive lounge 游暐睫 is so attentive and so helpful, endeavoured to offer us the best experience. We even got an extended check out time on our last day, allowed us plenty restful time before our long journey home. Really appreciated!
Staff are everywhere, all very polite and very efficient. We have been served well.
Location is in the centre of a commercial district, MRT station and bus stops are just across the road. You can reach almost all the parts of Taipei with ease. Only one change of MRT to Taoyuan International Airport.
Overall the JR东日本 大饭店 Hotel Metropolitan Premier hotel is one of the only two hotels that I cannot find any fault with, during my years and years of travel experience. It is my No. 1 choice of hotels should I visit Taipei again.

Booked and went to eat their Peking Duck. It was quite good.
Also ate at their buffet at lunch, not all food were great. Only a handful of beef (the beef booked in red wine) was good. Drinks were okay (cappuccino and Twinnings tea were good).
Service was optimal since it’s a 5-stars hotel.

The overall experience was very enjoyable. On arrival, help was given with luggage and the check-in process was very easy.

The rooms were clean and was spacious enough to work in comfortably. There is a fridge, vault, TV, closet (with hangers), and a really nice bathroom. The interior of the bathroom had mirrors on three sides with free amenities including a razor, toothbrush, and water bottles. My only complaint was that the windows were not clean at all. The exterior of my window was very dirty and looking a view into the beautiful city was clouded.

The service and location were both excellent. Cleaning and sheet swaps were routinely done. The area nearby included a very conveniently located bus station as well as several convenience stores.

We stayed for 9 days in Metropolitan Premier, and we had a great experience. Many already said what we want to say about this place, and for us we will come back to here next time in Taiwan.

Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei is extraordinary. From the highly attentive front desk to the Rooms Division to the concierge to fantastic breakfast dining, this hotel may be the very best experience we’ve had at a hotel worldwide.

Check in and out was smooth and easy. They graciously allowed us to leave our bags in their care on early arrival and a very late departure.

The friendly concierge service offered us highly detailed and helpful information on several occasions. We recall Eva Lin’s excellent help and assistance.

VJ Yu of the Executive Lounge also offered outstanding service. He deeply moved us by having vegetarian food specially waiting for us during Happy Hour! In addition, he expertly and kindly helped us print forms from a flash drive in a most secure manner.

Lastly and most exceptionally was our dining every morning, led by Executive Chef Ryuji Yoshiura. He and his staff prepared an outstanding, delicious buffet. As vegetarians, we chose from fresh juices, fresh salad bar, dried fruits and nuts, fresh noodles, rice, vegetables, egg dishes, and house made bakery goods. The wait staff warmly greeted us daily and were amazingly mindful, subtle and respectful.

Especially delightful was William Hou who extended warm, caring consideration for us, bringing us juices, engaging us in cheerful conversation, and even offering us guidance on tea drinking in Taiwan. He always had a big smile for us and offered much uplift and cheer which sweetly added to our already amazing dining experience.

The overall buffet would have been plenty, even as vegetarians often extremely challenged in finding healthy, delicious, vegetarian food. However, Chef Yoshiura didn’t stop there. Once he discovered we were vegetarians, he made it an exceedingly special dining experience for us throughout our stay. He asked us right away if we found the food supportive of our needs. We assured him that we found the buffet very satisfying. Nevertheless, he went way further for us. On two occasions he asked us if there was anything else that he could prepare for us as vegetarians.

The first time, he, himself, brought out a most delicious okonomiyaki, one of the best we’ve ever eaten. Several days later, upon our special request, we were totally amazed when he again, personally brought us two soufflés plated exquisitely! This reached unparalleled service for us in a hotel dining experience. We truly felt extremely grateful and deeply touched by Chef Yoshiura’s care, attentiveness, and willing creativity toward our vegetarian needs. We can’t recall ever being so carefully considered in a hotel for our vegetarian needs, especially in Asia, where meat and fish are served as part of staples to the diet and where vegetarian cooking without any animal additives can be extremely rare and challenging to find.

We left the hotel every day completely fulfilled for our daily food needs, which left the entire rest of the day open to enjoy many of Taipei’s wonderful sights and activities. Thank you so much, Chef Yoshiura. You helped make our experience in Taipei one of the very best experiences that we’ve had worldwide! Great cheers to you and your incredibly mindful staff!

We feel totally exhilarated to have stayed at the Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei, during our last minute trip to Taipei on our way elsewhere. We are elated that we traveled to Taipei. Finding the Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei added the perfect home base to our trip, making it one of the very best experiences we’ve had visiting a city, worldwide.

Very comfortable hotel. We stayed at the executive floor, and it was quiet and comfortable. Parking is very easy, and the room size is okay considering the city location.

Multiple restaurant choices nearby, and my kid loves the park just behind the hotel. The hotel also has fitness center and swimming pool (small and needed reservation).

It was our 3rd time staying at this hotel in 2years. Great rooms , great breakfast, and of course great service ! Highly recommended if you are visiting Taipei.
A metro station just next to it. Or taxi is easy to get to anywhere.
