Via Hotel Taipei Station

This is a wonderful hotel. Staying here for three nights during an extended stopover. Great central location for sightseeing and access to public transportation and the airport MRT Station just 5 minute walk away. Rooms are very nice. Bed is comfortable. The drink and snack bar area is a very nice convenience. Service is excellent and very friendly. Highly recommend.

First of all, location was great, walking distance to Taipei Main Station, and other MRT stops, second service was even greater…lost a wallet one night and the receptionist was doing his best to track all the cctv that we were on that night…even though the wallet wasn’t in the hotel, but we actually left it in uber, it was still such a big gesture from the hotel staff. Lastly they had complimentary snack / coffee / tea bar open for 24hours, and massage chairs to use, no breakfast included however who needs them when there are lots of breakfast places around you, everything was simply great

The hotel is situated between 3 MRT stations (~10 minutes away from each)

The concierge were very hospitable, with their warm greetings and intentional conversing with guests.

The hotel lobby also comes with free flow bottled water, drinks, snacks and soft serve ice cream. Truly a remarkable feat!

The hotel room was quite compact, to which I do not have an issue with as most of my time is spent outside the hotel. Beds were very cozy nonetheless.

Finally, I would like to give a special shoutout to hotel concierge, Mr Spencer, as his service was impeccable! 😁

We stayed in this hotel on three occasions during our recent trip to Taiwan. It was essentially our base hotel. In total, we were there for ten nights. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel has a nice eating area on the first floor with plenty of snacks and beverages, there for the taking 24/7. The automated coffee machine can brew a wide variety of delicious coffee drinks with the push of a button. Just help yourself. The hotel is located just a short walk from the Taipei Main Station. To be honest, we did not use the metro much. Uber is so affordable here, with a driver usually available in 1-3 minutes.

The best reason to stay here is the amazing staff! They are kind, eager to help, and quick to offer tourists detailed info on what to see and how to get there. We felt treated like family! Three of the four desk staff we encountered spoke English. The fourth was just as helpful with the assistance of Google Translate.

We would stay here again. No regrets!

My first hotel experience in Taiwan and I am very pleased with the service the staff provides.
They were able to hold our luggages for several days while we flew to Hong Kong before coming back to this hotel.

Common area comes with free snacks, water, soft serve cone ice cream and even cup noodles.

Downstairs has 2 full body massage chairs which were okay.

Free washer and dryer to use, comes with detergent.

I would definitely consider this hotel again if I come back to Taiwan.

This hotel has surpassed my view on service. Friendly staff who is always happy to help in even time of desparate need. There was one time when the hotel helped my mum book a cab in a jiffy when she needs to rush to the airport during rush hour.

Beds are super comfy (i can vouch that they are Sealy beds)

They have a sitting lounge at ground level where you can have some non alocoholic drinks (mineral water, packet juices, hot tea, etc)

Super good and quite spacious rooms! Price is quite affordable! What's there to complain!

I am happy with my 4 nights stay in Via hotel. The staff there are friendly and approachable. The room is clean and the facilities are well maintained. There are free drinks and snacks provided all day and a well sized dining and resting area for all. Overall it’s a decent hotel with good facilities. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Highly recommend this hotel for groups or family. What I love is the common area where you can gather together to have snacks. Also, they have free snacks 24/7 including coffee, tea, instant noodles, biscuits, jelly, water etc. On top of that service is also excellent, staff are very attentive and just ask if you need anything and they are happy to help. There are 2 stations near this hotel, Taipei Main (10 mins walk from exit 10) and NTU hospital (7 mins walk).

Great hotel for travellers. Rooms are very clean; bathroom has roomy shower with new fixtures and a modern Japanese toilet. Convenient location close to Main Station (airport MRT) and famous Ximingdin shopping area/night market. Lots of little restaurants and take away places so you will never go hungry. There are food stalls and fruit stands around the corner (make sure you go deeper into alleyway as prices are cheaper!) Bus 300 is steps away which takes you to Palace Museum. The hotel is very efficiently run with a self-serve snack bar, including cold water bottles, downstairs. Front desk has been very helpful!

We got the double bed for 3 person occupancy before our flight out of Taoyuan. My husband chose this location for proximity to Taipei Main Station but it's a bit of a walk (about 10 mins). I really liked the layout of the room and there was space for a couch. Overall, spacious and well designed. The only ding is that it's either a bit older or kind of dingy. The main parts, bed, etc all feel clean. But I noticed what appeared to be mildew around some of the light fixture and at the threshold for the shower among other parts. Would stay in again as it was convenient and I liked the feel and amenities (casual, not stuffy) with a free snacks/water area. I really appreciated the lack of nickel and diming that I often feel happens with US hotels. Front desk was prompt, efficient, good command of English. I didn't hear much traffic despite being located on a busy street. Close to a Family Mart too!

Great hotel very conveniently located for Taipei main station. We stayed in a room without a window which was still very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the free snacks provided - in particular the soft serve ice cream machine! An additional benefit is there is also a single free to use washing machine available. We would happily stay here again!

A 10 min walk away from Taipei Main MRT Station and Taoyuan Int Airport Rail. Very centrally located, near MRT stations, and about a 10 min walk away from Ximending Market. The hotel room was sufficiently big, It had no breakfast but had free food such as biscuits, free-flow coffee machine and ice cream too! Oh yes, they also had a free washing machine and dryer which was very convenient!

My stay at VIA hotel had been very pleasant! The hotel receptionists are very friendly and helpful to our requests! There is a common space that serves free flow snacks and drinks for all hotel guests. The room is well kept and clean. Location wise, it is 8-10mins walk from Ximen or Taipei Main station. There’s family mart and Watson just next to the hotel which is convenient for necessities. Overall, I recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for 4 nights. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room is clean and was comfortable to stay at. We liked the bathroom and nice shower. We really liked the snack bar which comes with free unlimited bottled water, coffee, tea, soda, ice cream, and some snacks. We would eat all the food we got from night markets in the snack bar at night then go to the free massage chairs at the basement which we really enjoyed. They also have free washer and dryer at the top floor with free detergent which was good because we didn't have to bring home dirty laundry.

We checked out at 12 noon Saturday but our flight was 2am on Sunday so we still had a whole day to tour the city. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage at the lobby and we could also come and go to the hotel to rest at the snack bar and still use the massage chairs. We left at 9PM to go to Taipei Main Station which was only 8 mins walk from the hotel.

Overall this was a perfect hotel for us because of the amenities, cleanliness, nice staff, and location. We recommend this hotel to our friends and to anyone who would like to stay in Taipei.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Free snacks, free desserts, free washing machine and dryer (first come first serve though) as there is only one machine each.
We love that the deluxe quadruple room has sooooo much space in taipei that is walking distance to taipei main station and ximending.
There is one classic quadruple room which is overlooking the lobby. Smaller than deluxe room but sufficient.

I really enjoyed staying here! The hotel is very comfortable, and everyone here is friendly and helpful. They have a nice cafe area for anyone staying here, which has free frozen yogurt! 😋 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Taipei.

Also, the front desk employees speak English which is a nice touch staying here as an American.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Overall very happy with the value, location and the rooms. The staff were also extremely friendly.

Our room had 2 double beds and was quite roomy - plenty of space for our luggage and other items. Spotlessly clean and the daily cleaning did a great job. The one slight knock is that there was no natural light in the room. We had windows however they looked out onto the foyer of the hotel. The description may well have stated this so not going to complain. Either way it made it easy to sleep in as the room was quite dark.

The location is great, about 5 or 6 minutes to the nearest MRT station whilst Taipei main station was about 10 or so minutes away. Ximen is about 10 minutes away also. Heaps of food options in the area.

Overall would recommend as a base to explore Taipei.

The hotel provided baby cot, baby bathtub and stool.

Thumbs up for their service as the staff are always ready to assist you. Hotel is well equipped with the pantry, washing machine and dryer.

Overall very good and will stay here again if we visit Taipei again.

Great location that's close to the train station and short walk to Ximien Ding. The rooms are clean and really nice bathrooms with Japanese toilets. They have an amazing self service food bar where they provide free snacks, water, yogurt, ramen. They refill it quite often. There are massage chairs in the basement. Staff was very nice and accommodating and held our luggage for us before our flight.

Checked in around 3am, and there is still counter staff serving, her service was excellent; welcoming, gave clear guidance and ready to help. Though the room didn't have any windows and quite small, it was clean and comfy, the bed and pillows were really comfortable and helped me sleep quite well through the night. The rest area for the hotel guests was awesome, with sufficient selections of beverages and snacks(good surprise to see one or two replaced with other types on the next day). Quite near to Ximenting, Taipei main station & many eateries. Worth staying 👍
