Hotel Relax 5

We experienced some issues with our toilet and informed the staff on duty (Jenny) who was quick to respond to us and as this is not within her job scope to rectify the issue, she quickly gave us a new room as a service recovery. She promptly followed up with us to check if everything is alright at the new room. Overall, excellent customer service since our first date of accommodation. Thank you Jenny and the team at relax 5.

No breakfast which I thought would be more easily fixed than it was. I'm evidently more conservative about what I have for breakfast than any other meal. Eggs seemed to be the easy option.
Room was a good size and had everything I needed.
Good location near the main station.

I dropped my ring to the sink while washing hands at night. The receptionist tried her best to help me and finally she got a colleague from another branch to help me.

Apart from this, comfortable room, very good location, and i like the coffee corner!

If you want accommodation in the middle of tourist attractions. Convenient to travel. And near the Ximen night market, it's a short walk from the MRT station. I recommend it here. I have stayed in many places in Taipei. But here I especially recommend it.

Coming back from a trip around Taiwan south part, I had one night to spend in Taipei before i could take my flight, and I booked a double bunk bed for myself.
It was a really good surprise to me.
First, the location is great as it is walking distance to Taiwan Main station (station connected to MRT system, Airport express, other regional trains). Secondly, the room was slightly small, but good enough as the room layout was fully optimized. What I appreciated the most is both the room and especially the bathroom were in excellent condition, really clean too. Each details in the room and bathroom made the stay really enjoyable and comfortable.

very comfortable hotel. they provide free coffee packs with real coffee in it for single use. nice idea. the rooms are small but enough size for one person. there is a big road im front of the hotel, but the noise cancellation is excellent. I would come back!

Very convenient location as it is near by to the taipei main station where transport either around taipei or to/from the airport is easily accessible...

Near shinkwang dept store and nice food nearby as well..

Hotel Relax 5 is a great place to stay in Taipei. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very central and the staff are extremely helpful.

Rooms are very clean, quiet and cozy, a bit on the small side but understandable due to location. Service staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, my stay there was perfect and very pleasing. Highly recommended.

4.5 stars. The room is small, but the employees are friendly, the price is good, and the location is very convenient. I appreciated the coffee and matcha milk machine that was also available. Due to covid, the breakfast buffet was replaced with packaged meals, which were very tasty! I would stay here again.

The rooms are on the more cozy side. Perfect for a single person or for folks that aren't so big.

Located near to Taipei Main Station. If you are coming by Airport Train, you can exit from Exit 4, and it’s a short walk to the hotel. If you are going to take MRT/HSR/TRA, it’s a 1 min walk to exit Z10, (stairs) and you can follow the signs in the underground. They only clean the room on your 4th day, but you can inform them to clear your rubbish or change your towel. There are water dispenser, and coffee and tea machine at Level 1. There is also a small common area with tables and chairs for you to dine. I stayed in the single room which was cozy and comfortable. Love the view outside my window. I love the black theme of the hotel too. Except for the wifi which was very very slow, I was very happy with the hotel.

Perfect location with walking distance to Main Station, Ximending and Ningxia Night Market. Design and amenities are very nice with modern bathroom and shower room ( they are separate) facilities. Super friendly front desk staff. Daniel and Orlando are very helpful! Thank you!!!

Would give 10 stars if I could. The room itself is very small- so don't come if you are looking for something luxurious. But it is very space efficient and has almost everything. Also great location- few steps to the underground mall to get to the mrt or train station.

Highly recommend for quarantine stay .
I’m so happy that during the quarantine for 15 days in hotel relax 5 .
The room was small but sample design and the important thing is have the big window in the room .
Even couldn’t get out for 15 days , when the weather is nice you still can enjoy the sunshine on the bed .
This is my only request for the quarantine hotel ,
So I really enjoyed my time here .
Also the service and employees were super nice and helpful.
About the meals were good too .
But the week 2 meals were nearly same as week 1 .

5 stars for this hotel. No regret staying here. Will definitely stay again when visit Taiwan.

The staff was very helpful and patient. The room was clean and spacious for Taipei (had a little nook). Food for quarantine was very good! Had different kinds of food everyday and they even served fruit! Best quarantine experience so far.
