Great hotel in the heart of Taipei. The location is very convenient.

I like the industrial type of clean interior design. They also provide some pastry, fruit and soy milk in the morning which is very convenient.
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend any happy hour during my 3 days stay.

Definitely one of my top hotel choice in taipei

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with super friendly staff that offered us coffee and pastry since we arrived early in the morning. The check-in process was quick and clear. We were on our way to roam the city in no time.
The room was modern and clean. Albeit on the smaller side, it was functional and even has space for yoga with mate included.
The best part of the stay was the service the staff provided. We were always greeted leaving or arriving. During the two-day stay, we had an incident of me leaving my phone on a taxi that we wave down. They went extra miles to check security footage and continue to call my phone until the driver answered. I was able to get the phone back before the end of the night. We were so relieved since all our travel info were on the phone and would be very difficult to recover. Kudos to Hunter Sun who worked tirelessly to make it happen. I would've give 10 stars if I can. Definitely will come back in the future.
The location is also super convenient. 5-minute walk to the metro station and plenty of department stores nearby.

It was kind of odd for the room to open up into the bathroom but besides that the room was fine.
The service was really helpful and offered amenities such as hair curlers.
Really convenient location, lots of shopping and eating within walking distance as well as the MRT if you need to go further.

Room very quiet and clean/modern, bed top rate. Vibe in this hotel is perhaps best we have experienced anywhere in the world! Outstanding staff who couldn't do enough to help and snacks at regular intervals were fabulous idea. Highly recommend to traveller's looking for 7 star service and excellent facilities (even yoga mat provided I room).

Short one night stay for a long layover. Location is very convenient.

Service was extremely attentive, props to the concierge staff, especially Rohit and the rest of his coworkers, made sure to help me with my luggage and made sure I had ample supply of sparkling water while I checked in and checked out.

Room was fine- bed is comfy- design is unique.

The bar upstairs was also fine- Chet and the other female mixologist were very hospitable. This area is also full of bars within walking distance

Small snacks several times a day are served in the lobby and included in the room price.

What a great experience we had! From the welcoming check in to the great room design. A special thanks to Mathew for his kind engagement and his hospitality. Rohit for organising our special trip to the hot springs up in the mountain area. Also had some great dinner recommendations from other concierge staff too. Thank you so much for the great service team. I can highly recommend this hotel and their current staff.

Ps. I enjoyed using the gym, complimentary happy hour 5.30 to 6.30 and the short walk to the under ground transport.

I had an amazing 5-night stay at this Kimpton despite the fact that I was sick during most of my trip. Every staff I encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping, was super friendly and welcoming. The concierge supervisor Hunter was especially accommodating and went above and beyond to help with my needs. The hotel is at a great location and the interior decor is hip and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Pet friendly - Sweet of them to provide a pet bed and bowls in the room. A dog park right next door made our stay with pet very easy.

Nestled in the heart of Taipei, this stands out as one of the city's newer hotels, immersing you in the pulse of excitement with a mere stone's throw away from malls and the train station. Concealed in a tranquil alley, it presents the appearance of a refurbished gem from an older era. Internally, the ambiance is characterized by cleanliness, innovation, and modernity. The staff, donned in stylish attire, extends warmth and attentiveness to every guest need.

The rooms, while clean and compact, lack expansive views, particularly on the 7th floor. The first-floor bar, though petite, offers a snug setting for enjoying live music amidst a vibrant young crowd. Happy hours from 5:30 to 6:30 at the lobby level treat guests to snacks and drinks. Although I've yet to explore the gym on the 12th floor, the rooms are notably well-appointed and pristine. While the elevator may occasionally exhibit slowness or an aversion to moving near your floor, the one by bell 1 reliably comes to the rescue. Despite these quirks, the hotel's superb location facilitates convenient exploration by train, ensuring an overall delightful stay.

I always love the Daan Area in Taipei, and Kimpton is relatively new in the areas (only opened for 4 years). I travelled with my elderly Parents and it is important for our accommodation to be near the subway station and Kimpton is only 1-2 minutes away from the subway entrance, it also offers extra bed service which is perfect for the 3 of us. The premium room is spacious and modern, beautifully designed, good quality bedding and in-room amenities. The best feature of the room is the smart toilet! We love it. The location of this hotel is worth paying for the extra few quid, it is also within walking distance to SOGO, one of the biggest shopping attractions in Taipei. A lot of great restaurants around and small eateries at the back streets, offering plenty of choices.
Finally, I also wanted to mention concierge ambassador Rohit, he takes really good care of us, especially my elderly parents since we arrived. My dad was impressed with the service and he rarely compliment anyone 🤣

From the beginning my stay was excellent. We stayed for a week. Staff contacted me prior to my arrival to see if there's anything I needed that they can help with accommodation. We arrived late and Jeff gave us a very nice welcome and boba recommendations along with light bites. All the staff were courteous, attentive, friendly and welcoming. It feels like they treat you like family. If I had a question, they were very helpful. Room was nice, clean, and thoughtful touches. We were celebrating our anniversary and we were pleasantly welcomed to yummy desserts in our room. Excellent location-near metro and lots of shops and eateries. Prime location. Unpretentious hotel that offers a warm welcome like a feeling of good neighborhood community. I recommend and can't wait to go back!

Hotel is in a central location within walking distance to the nearest MRT station and department store.

Service of staff is excellent and pays extra attention to make sure that guests’ needs are met.

Room is clean and comfortable for a good night rest. The room design may be a little weird for some.

Breakfast at restaurant is delicious with good selection of Asian and Western set meal. Definitely my first choice hotel in Taipei.

A 5 star hotel that actually lives up to it's 5 star rating! I am not one to like staying in hotels especially for long periods of time, but we loved our 8 night stay at the Kimpton Da'An location. The concierge and desk staff were extremely helpful with local recommendations. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city next to great restaurants and shopping and easy access to MRT less than a block away. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable which we also loved. The room and hotel lobby were always very clean. We loved our balcony room with a view of the Da'An neighborhood. The daily fruit and snacks in the lobby as well as the complimentary cocktail hour were another great amenity.

Best Customer Service Ever! We stayed at the Kimpton Da An Hotel back in January 2023 for six nights. The room was clean and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious! But above all, the customer service provided by the staff was above and beyond what was expected. After checking out I forgot a mini Bose portable speaker in the room. The hotel emailed me afterwards, but I was long gone. I asked them to mail it to San Francisco, California, but the cost was too high. I told the hotel staff to keep the speaker until I get back in October to pick it up. They promised to keep it safe. Everyone including, Rohit, Mia, Fanny, Andrea, William, and Ethan made every effort to ensure me that I could pick it up when I return. In deed at the end of October, I emailed them to let them know I would pick it up. When I walked in, the speaker was there waiting for me. If this happened at any other hotel, I will probably never see the speaker again, let along be able to pick it up ten months later. Thank you so much staff members for taking such good care of their guests. I would gladly stay here again and again.

Fantastic service from Ethan who works at front desk reception. I had an issue with picking up the wrong luggage at the airport. Ethan went above and beyond to liase with airport and local taxi drivers. I was very impressed by his professionalism and service!

Fantastic stay at Kimpton Da An. We originally planned to stay 2 nights and move to W Hotel but we decided to extend our stay after just one night. We were super impressed by the awesome service and excellent location. The hotel is near the MRT exit and is a great locale for foodies with so many excellent eateries nearby.

A special shout out to the Kimpton team of Jeff, Hunter and everyone else. They made us feel so welcome and were extremely attentive and proactive - well done team. 6 star service and we'll definitely come back to visit.

This is a lovely hotel with well architecturally designed rooms and also great interior decoration. Close to a train station and in a nice area. The highlight were the staff, they were so professional, lovely and warm. The staff certainly know the meaning of customer service and they make it a priority. Off the service alone, I would highly recommend this hotel!
