Beimen

This four-level, underground station has two side platforms. It is located beneath Tacheng St. beneath Civic Blvd. and Zhongxiao West Rd. It was scheduled to open in December 2013 with the launch of the Songshan Line. However, the opening of Beimen station was delayed until 15 November 2014.

The southeastern part of the station connects to the Taipei City Mall, which connects through to Taipei Main Station.

My Second Favorite station in Taipei:
1/ the free museum inside of when the Japanese came is interesting for a station.
2/ closer to the airport train than Taipei main station
3/ no people in the station. So quiet and nice.
4/ very clean
5/ beside Taipei Metro Mall - good for a meal or ice cream before leaving for the airport.

Probably my favourite MRT station. It is usually pretty quiet, it's well-designed, and there are lots of clean bathrooms.

At Beimen station you can do luggage check in and get boarding pass, also go to the airport via express train, it cost ntd 160.

Convenient to travel around. Near ximending.. This station is crowded with people..

地下一樓台北車站歷史文物展示區展出考古工具，鐵路建設歷史，是很特別的捷運站，是一座活的鐵路歷史博物館，值得慢慢參觀。

🚉濃濃的歷史文化的一座捷運站，從驗票閘門出來後，看到紅龍柱位置，就能看到不少歷史遺跡，如果是第一次到訪，喜歡歷史的朋友，建議可以停下腳步慢慢細細欣賞，如果覺得還不過癮，離開捷運站後，從2號出口可以造訪國立台灣博物館鐵道園區、台北市府城（承恩門）等。

🚉北門捷運站緊鄰台北地下街、台北捷運站、桃園捷運站等，交通或是旅遊都非常便利的，以觀光旅遊旅遊為目的，除了上述兩個地點外，順著塔城街就可以到達熱鬧的迪化街（約600公尺），在不考慮接駁下，要步行到寧夏夜市（約750公尺）、大稻埕碼頭（約1.1公里）、華陰街商圈（約500公尺）都是步行可達的知名地點，稍微走馬看花大約也要耗費一天時間。

🚉其他補充說明：
1.靠近2號出口與1號出口詢問處設有洗手間🚾（非付費區，不用進入票口內）。
2.置物櫃設於轉桃園機場捷運方向24 (大)；0 (小)，因為緊鄰的周邊可以逛的區域還不少，如果有攜帶大量行李，建議可以先放此處。

到西門町逛街，有機會不妨試著走路過來，距離很近，沿路經過相機街後就是台北府城的北門側面。
北門，正式名稱是承恩門。是清代的城門建築。少數台北僅存的清代建築。也在忠孝橋高架橋拆除後，不再只是從橋上輕輕瞥一眼，而是可以坐下來好好的看看這歷史性的故事。
另在台北城北門一側的北門郵局，是舊時代的建築，目前一二樓為北門郵局使用。
有機會來到這裡不妨佇足一下，感受舊城古蹟的舊建築與一旁的新建築共存的新舊時代融合在同一空間的新舊共存的城市美學。
