Jimmy's Hotdog

I personally think this is the best hot dog in Taipei. 🌭😋

So the other day my pop pop went back to Taipei and lo and behold he wanders off to grab some lunch. To my surprise he told me he went and got himself some hot dogs...!? I inquired pop pops further about this hot 🐶 adventure and he went on to explain its this tasty street food he used to get when he was a youngin... the portion size was adequate and paired nicely with the condiments. It was a nice meal but one thing that stood out was the time that was spent on toasting the buns... the buns were mmm mmmmm toasty... pop pops really would like to know what type of herb was grown outside though🤔

There are a variety of hot dogs and they provide lots of toppings: pickles, jalapeno peppers, tomato, etc. Hot dogs and french fries were amazing. Reasonable price and helpful, friendly staffs. Must try it if you are an American and miss hometown food.

If you want a tasty American hot dog, come to Jimmy's. I ordered a chili cheese dog and a Taiwan beer for $220. The dog has a great bite to it and not mushy at all. I added some of their candied jalapenos to it. The bread also is very nice. I know that this hot dog is a little expensive in Taiwan but it is different from other hot dogs
The place is also very comfortable and clean. I speak and read Chinese but appreciated their English menu to make it easy to order.
If I can have any criticism, I'd say they are a little too careful too prepare a dog. After all, through the garden ain't a careful thing in Chicago. :)

been craving for a real hot dog and this place does not disappoint. my fav is the chicago dog cause i like onion and pickles 👍🏼 here they give you a nice big slice of pickle!

This is THE place for hotdogs in Taipei. Choose from a set menu or make your own, it is all delicious. Don't forget to try the candied jalapeños at the counter.

Excellent hot dogs. The staff are relaxed, friendly and helpful and there is a chilled atmosphere inside. There isn’t too much seating space, only 3 tables, but that makes it better in my opinion - nice, quiet and relaxed. The hot dogs were delicious, the bun was toasted too which was a nice touch. Definitely coming back to try more from his 9 options.

One of the best burgers in Taipei in my opinion! Just got the beef cheese burger and chili hot dog. I think the hot dog wasn’t bad but not the best. 279ntd for both items.

Was cycling around the island and stop by for tea time.. Made the right decision to have our meal here as it just taste like.. love at first sight! Had the Chilli Dog and Jicago Dog.. Added a lot onion for my Chilli Dog which make it so tasty! Jicago Dog is spicy itself and very hot plus refreshing after taste.. The outdoor seating have a very nice view of the ferry pier opposite the shop.. Rating 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUST TRY THIS!!!

Legit and delicious American hotdogs such as your classic chili dog and Chicago dog as well as many other options. Takes it one step further with an amazing, slightly sweet toasted bun.

(Seriously, watch the chefs toast the buns through the serving window, the very definition of focus and dedication.)

All sorts of condiments to jazz up your hotdog further, such as jalapenos, onion, relish, and even sauerkraut are available. The perfectly toasted bun and selection of condiments means that while these dogs are good delivered (is, Uber Eats), don't miss out on eating them in the store as they're AMAZING fresh out of the kitchen.

Hit the spot! I got the Chicago style hot dog, buns were toasted, only wish the frank was a bit bigger! Got the chili cheese fries which were nice too :)

Must try: chilli beef, butterscotch/fresh-cut fries. Their chilli beef is prob the best I’ve had in town!

Great selection of authentic dogs and burgers. The Jicago (Chicago) Dog was terrific. Authentic down to the neon green relish and sport pepper. The New York dog was also very good. The sausages have a good snap to them and are super flavorful. The crinkle cut fries were hot and crispy. I tried the caramel sauce for dipping and it wasn't bad, a little strange though. It would be really good with sweet potato fries though. Overall a great place to satisfy your dog cravings.

Really fresh and delicious...the hotdogs are incredible but the other items are also good. They have really put together some great flavor combinations and the buns are perfect. They look huge but you won't have a heavy stomach from the bread, just really really good. Will definitely be back!

You can make your own flavour hotdog. Must add Sweet jalapeno. The grill bread makes the hotdog more tasty. Fries with potato skin is delicious. With unlimited soft drink. Recommended. Btw, Handsoap is very funny. Must visit the toilet.lol.

It was the best hotdog I've tasted in Taiwan. A must try. A lot of options to choose from. How I wish the place was bigger.

Best American style hotdog place in Taipei. Staff is friendly, owner is friendly and takes pride in his work. Also, jalapenos as an available condiment is a plus I'm my book. Would highly recommend.
