POSHPACKER HOTEL

This hotel is very good in so many ways. First is the location. It sits close to Taipei Main Station, only 5min walk to the subway. Second, check in process was smooth and they allowed me to leave my luggage early in the morning. They also allow check in until 10pm. The hotel is so secured and would require access pass in most areas. Elevator is available. Room is clean , tho the sheets have a stain but it’s ok. There was free towel and bottle of water. Toilets are heated and automatic, bathroom has free shampoo, conditioner and body wash, with hair dryers as well. The bathroom could have been cleaner cuz i noticed some parts are already moldy (i.e ceiling) i wish the floors/beds are heated esp during winter/cold weather it could get rly cold.

Would recommend this place and stay here again next time.

Although the single room without window is small, but it is sufficient for a short term stay and suitable for those who wish to enjoy privacy at a low budget in a conveniently-located hotel near to Taipei Main Station - Airport MRT)

Based on the ratings on the Google maps and the location from the main workplace during the stay, I decided to book this hotel.

I took a bus from Songshuang airport to Taipei station front stop 🚏 it was about 10 mins walk from the bus stop.

The hotel appearance looks very stylish and easy to find, the front desk was very polite but casual 😁 the room is very compact, but clean and neat. Small fridge, security box, sandals are set in the room, and there were 2 hangers on the wall.
I chose the "with window" room and it was great for me to feel the sunlight in the morning.

One bottled water and one big towel are provided. Without the reminder to the front desk, your towel won't be changed after 3 nights, eco-friendly mindset 😃

The air conditioner worked perfectly to keep the room cool.
Two charging outlet plugs are enough for my devices.

The shared bathroom are also well cleaned. The changing space was a bit small but you are challenged changing the clothes in the small box.
The hair dryer power was a bit weak, but was okay.

You can supply your hot/cold/lukewarm water in your bottle at the underground floor.

Landry room on the roof top floor(no elevator but step from the 6th floor) was a bit tricky to use. Needed to insert 10twd coins depends on the number of slits.
You can get a detergent ball at the front desk for free.

It cost 70twd for 2 days of clothes including washing and drying.

There are seven eleven and massage shops nearby and many bus stops round

Overall, I enjoyed the stay very much😁

This hotel is highly suitable for solo travelers, offering a reasonable price for individual rooms and excellent privacy. While the bathrooms are shared and their cleanliness is satisfactory but not perfect, the overall value is impressive. The location is extremely convenient, being just a 5-minute walk to the MRT station and within 30 minutes of other Taipei attractions. highly recommend this hotel if you are a solo traveler.

Convenient location for public buses and MRT. Has a 7-11 right beside. Nice staff. Cozy room with clean bathrooms. Has drinking water available. Has washing/drying machines (although slightly pricey). Worth the price staying here.

Location is a 10min walk from Taipei MRT also, it's a 10min walk to Ximending. Very near to everything and it's fun just walking around the place at night.

The staff was really friendly and really helpful, everyone spoke english and was really warm.

The rooms we're clean and comfortable, you have your own TV and your own little basket of towels and water.

Jerry is an amazing guy. He was very accommodating, friendly and is super fluent in English. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and cheap. They have an amazing lounge that is open 24hrs and also has all types of facilities such as tv, microwave, water machine and even bathroom facilities in addition to the one on each floor. Definitely recommend this place for any short and long term as it is very affordable and the staff is super friendly 👍🏻

True to its name, Poshpacker is intended to give backpackers a bit more "posh" service, so the standard and quality of the service and the rooms offered is very high. The rooms, showers, and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained; plus they have Japanese-style bidet heated toilet seat, so this is a big plus for me. And although I arrived so late at 2 AM and depart so early at 3 AM the next day, the receptionist is ready 24/7 and gave me a great and friendly welcome, no matter what time it is. The location is great too, only a few minutes walk from Taipei Main Station. 100% would recommend this place, especially for solo travellers.

Clean, safe and convenient hostel located just south of Taiwan Main Station. Perfect for a short jaunt in Taipei. Luggage lockers in the basement if needed. Clean rooms, shared bathrooms, floors are gender-specific. Laundry available on the roof. Safe available in the room.

Not a lot of area to hang clothes. Perfect if you have a small carry on bag but could be rough for someone traveling with larger luggage. Air conditioner switches off when you leave with the key card (eco-friendly and economical) so the room is usually a bit stuffy upon return but it cools again quickly (small room). Some rooms don't have windows.

Clean , neat n safe . very worth money value at such a strategic location, 👍👍👍. Less than 3 min walk to taipei subway . Highly recom for single travel female.p/s: I have good slept last nite🤗

Value for money, the counter help desk staff are professional and helpful. The single occupancy room is tight but provide just as much privacy as required.

Location is monumental, easy to get to Taipei main station from there you find easy transport links to all of Taiwan.

i love this place from check in through check out. nice staffs, nice facility and amenities. room size is fine for hostel. shared bathroom is clean and private. seperate floor for ladies and male guests. Provide free drinking water service of coin laundry. Good location about 400 m from Taipei Main Station.
The only minus point is stinky smell at the corridor, but not too bad.

This simple hotel is a cool, clean and affordable hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. You will never regret staying here. They offer nice, cozy and clean rooms for solo and a packaged room with your partner. Although they have a common room for ladies, you will find clean toilets and bathrooms with hair dryer, soap, shampoo, comb, etc. It was such a nice experience stating there.

It provides clean and comfortable private rooms and public shower.
Guests have reserved privacy, which is hard to obtain in other hostels.

A laundry room on the top floor and a coffee shop at the Lobby level. Pretty warm and convenient.

If you are familiar with the shared bathroom dormitory style hostels then Poshpacker is as perfect as it gets. Think ultra sleek designer brand modern style. The rooms are small but OK for one person especially if you can get one with a city view. The front desk crew are all very nice too.

Nice cozy hostel near Taipei Station.
Our twin room although its small that it can only fitted the length of our twin single beds, is clean and equipped with nice bedding, TV set, mini fridge and a safebox.
We were placed at 6th floor for female only. The shared bathroom is nice and modern looking and facilities. There are 4 shower stalls and 4 bidet toilets, though the lightings bit dingy.
The staffs are well spoken and precise.
Would definitely stay here again given the fair price and only 300m walk to the Taipei Station entrance. From here, you can get to the airport line, THSR line, MRT line and also some interesting shoplots for last minute shopping.

Poshpacker hotel exceeded my expectation... very clean rooms...to note the bed and linens are super white and very comfortable. Check in and check out was very fast and organized. There is also a well designed lounge below which can be used for eating or plain relaxation. This hotel is walking distance from the action... Perfect for travellers who do not have much luggages. Have an in room safety deposit box and personal ref.. . The toilet and bath is shared but complete with necessary amenities including hair dryer.

I like the location. Convenient, easy to find and near many eateries/marts. Single room is adequate with bed, fridge, safe, aircon, television, mirror and power outlet. Shared bathroom has nice lemon smell shampoo/body soap. As it is raining Sept season, room smell alittle moldy but a small window can be opened.
Note: no more cafe on lobby floor. Became clothing shop.

Enjoyed my stay here. You may leave your luggage in case you arrived early in Taiwan so you can enjoy your first day. Upon check out, in case you have a late flight schedule, you may also leave your luggage here. They have available lockers where you can store your luggage free of charge.

Nice hotel. Reasonable price and it is a single room. No need to worry will disturb others. Share bathroom are fine for me. Just a little comment that their bathroom ventilation not so good, got heavy humid smell.
