Danongdafu Forest Park

A really beautiful place. Worth cycling along the clearly marked cycling path. I think it is about 10km round trip in total if you are rushing for time, and more. If you decide to explore more. You can also rent a 4 person electric "quad"cycle to save some legwork. We thoroughly enjoyed the time there.

2 hour ride on an electric bike through a narrow path that meanders through a small forest. A tranquill and unique experience. You can cycle or walk too. Great mountain scenery in the background as well.

So beautiful, rented a electric family bike for 2 hours TWD800. We enjoyed so much, quality family time in the nature.

If you got nothing to do and have covered all the places in Hualien, then this is the place for spending the next whole day. Strolling, cycling, photography and relaxing.

Danongdafu Forest Park is a great spot to visit! It's a vast, mostly flat, park area with narrow roads excellent for bicycling.

The park is the southernmost stop on the shuttle route; if you want to explore the East Rift Valley further to the south, take a train from Guangfu Railway Station (two bus stops north of the park).

The staff at the visitor center was very friendly and helpful. Nice park and very enjoyable.

This is a fantastic place to see fields of flowers. The surrounding mountains really add to the atmosphere.

Great place to go cycling or walking or having a picnic and it is very common to come across some wild animals especially in the afternoon! In April there is a fire flies festival even though we still haven’t had the chance to visit at that time! The February flower festival is worth visiting! A very relaxing place to see the fields lying in the rift between the two rows of mountains!

One of the best cycling stop in the east coast.

I found out the place almost accidentally along my road trip to Hualien City. A nice artificial forest planted across the valley, with great view of both the coastal hills and the lofty mountains inland. The cycling path is a must-try if you ever visit the park, there were four different cycling routes, each was approx one to two miles long with splendid mountain views and plantations.

Wonderful spot for leisure. There's a bicycle rental shop right beside the parking lot. Don't forget to bring your snacks and enjoy the beautiful mountain view.

Just like it. If you came with ur kids, get there before 9:00 or after 15:00, at the Temp. 21 degree, enjoy riding a bike between the trails. A big, big love for the youth and young.
