Pacific Business Hotel

I enjoyed my stay here. 6-8 minute walk to nearest MRT station, and about the same distance to Taipei 101. My room was a junior suite with balcony. Very clean and well appointed with a small fridge, iron and ironing board, electric kettle, and a safe. The shower was exceptional! One great feature of this hotel is free use- laundry detergent included-of two washers and driers, located adjacent to the small gym. Available 24 hours a day. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Thank you!

Very nice hotel in a good central location, 10 minute walk to MRT. On-site laundry makes longer stays more convenient. Comfy bed, good shower, clean rooms.

Booked/stayed at this establishment due to its proximity to Taipei 101 and Din Tai Fung. We had a long layover (22 hours, Bali-Chicago), ended up booking for 2 nights.

Staff were friendly. Organized an airport taxi for us, NTD 1300.

What more could you want.

As an American business traveler, I loved my stay at PBH. Here's a hidden benefit you won't see in many reviews: it is offset from the large nearby streets -- so there is virtually zero traffic noise, unlike some fancier hotels that are right on busy streets like Xinyi. Food was fresh and excellent, room larger than expected with free amenities, and modern shower and comfy bed. If you need a pool, you should spring for Hyatt or Shangri-la...but if you don't, PBH is a great choice and a good value.

I've stayed here twice over the last two years and am about to book a third stay. The location is excellent and I like that it's tucked away on the upper stories of a nondescript office building -- the entrance feels calm and private, exactly the opposite of the large chaotic international chain hotels. There are several convenience stores within one or two blocks where one can stock up on beer, bottled water, etc. and the MRT (subway) is less than 10 minutes away by foot. The staff has always been friendly and the breakfasts are good with lots of variety to choose from. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable furnishings,a safe, a fridge, robes, slippers, etc., but the best part is having a private balcony hundreds of feet up in the air overlooking Taipei!

This hotel has the best view around Taipei 101 and it is your first choice if you visit Taipei, hospitality is the best and breakfast serve with hot and fresh daily, strongly recommend to friends around the world! Each room has individual balcony with openable door for fresh air, the most important part during hotel staying, and the more unique is each room come with individual A/C for best hygiene you can ever get. 10 mins walking to Taipei 101, Convenience Store 10 seconds away (family mart and seven), dry cleaning, best restaurant Woolloomooloo around the corner, and U-bike are just seconds, subway station is just around the corner, you will feel like home when you stay here, 100% recommended and welcome to the world city Taipei!

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights while attending a conference at a nearby venue. The room was very comfortable (although the bed was a touch too hard) and all the amenities were available. The room was quiet and clean, and the hotel provided a good range of toiletries and water. The breakfast was very good. Overall the service was excellent.

For the price range this was perfect for us. 2 people, got a complementary upgrade. Staff were professional and attentive. Breakfast was better than most hotels with a mix of local foods too not just your western spread.

Room was kept clean everyday and even got the small details of replacing and resetting the little things.

Wasn't to noisy and the location was perfect. Although there was no spectacular view from our window but that's what going out is for. Close to public bikes, subway, and bus stops. Close to night markets, a fantastic hidden speakeasy in the back alleyway, shopping areas, a couple of Michelin starred restaraunts nearby at Taipei 101 and other land marks. If you take some time to figure out the local public transport, it was definitely really cheap to travel around the city from as a base point. Spent about $12 in transportation in 5 days of traveling the entire city.

Best amenity was the free use of a laundry machine, soaps included. In the hot hummid summer air and the daily rain storms, this was absolutely perfect. Had clean clothes everyday and a full fresh suitcase to bring home. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Its not a 5 star hotel so don't expect it to be ultra lux, at this price range its a great place.

Main entrance is from guangfu south Rd via a pedestrian path, and not the little alley way as the map pin might suggest. Hotel Lobby on 11F in the building complex.

Big, comfortable, rooms. Front desk and house keeping staff are all very friendly and professional. Nice business lounge to relax in, read and have a coffee.
Small gym but enough for a workout while away from home. Windows are heavily tinted and balcony door can be opened for fresh air!

Small downside is soundproofing is not the best. Can hear the traffic outside sometimes, especially road rage and every so often, people next door laughing loudly

The hotel is centrally located in the business district that has easy access to public transportation to and from airport and convention centers. The rooms are clean and good internet connection. The staff are courteous and willing to assist. The breakfast is well prepared and has great selections.

Comfortable, clean and perfectly located for access to World Trade Centers and 101.
Staff always immaculate and very attentive.
Good choice at breakfast if required.
Convenience stores just outside lobby for anything you require
Lacks a bar but it is a Business Center not a hotel

Truly a Star Rated Hotel. No hype absolutely...

Great hotel, stayed here on anniversary and received a pleasant gift and lovely hand written card, it has most of the facilities that you need, even free DIY laundry service! Superb breakfast, fast wifi, only cons is that distance to mrt is a bit of a walk though about 6 mins brisk walking, though we didn't mind. Would stay here again, thanks to all the team here, we had a great time!

The location is fabulous! Taipei 101 is within walking distance. MRT is rather close by. Taxis are easy to come by. Linjiang Market is a nice walk away. Convenience stores all around. Great shopping and eating everywhere. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Very convenient place to stay in Taipei.

In the last 5 years I have stayed here 4 times. I tried another hotel last year and was very happy to come back to The Pacific this year. A warm and friendly environment, with a great location. Looking forward to next year! Thank you!!

very good service - very good place. It is a pity they don't have a reasonnable cost for early check in, but they propose a lounge to wait in quiet place.
