南方安逸 Harbour Fantasy

This was one of the best places that I ate at in Tainan. I had the Myanmar curry, which had an amazing home made flavour! There's also a good selection of coffee which is expertly prepared by the owner to bring out the flavour. The owner and his wife both speak English and kindly chatted with me during my meal. As a single traveller this was very appreciated.
I'd highly recommend visiting here for good food or coffee. Next time I'm in Tainan I'll definitely be going back!

A vegetarian cafe with very yummy curries, portions are generous. Mostly plant-based except for a couple of dishes. Beverages with dairy can also be made vegan with coconut mylk.

Love the nostalgic decor and friendly service. Gluten-free friendly and able accommodate special dietary requests.

What a fun, delicious meal! The place is very small and homey; staff friendly (with good English) and food great. Spicy means spicy. Nice selection of local craft brews, plus some from Japan. It’s a vegetarian menu with vegan options. Great neighborhood, too.

Best curries in town, with flavors and influence from all over Asia... Thai, Myanmar, Malaysia, India. A real treat in Tainan, and a paradise for vegetarians/vegans. The owner couple is also super nice, and you can feel the passion and love they put in every meal. It’s not cheap, but worth it. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious vegetarian and vegan food with lots of home grown ingredients. The beer selection was awesome and the beers the self were great. Very cool atmosphere with friendly staff who speak amazing English - can’t recommend this little gem enough!

Delicious home cooked curries and stews which are different every time! Great selection of craft beers from various countries and a selection of cheesecakes and ice cream (desserts are vegetarian, not vegan)

A gem of a place right by the big temple on Shennong street. Entirely vegetarian and probably about 80% of the menu is vegan. The owner is really friendly and offered us free refills on our drinks.

Great place to get some local Tainan craft beers, and the food is really good too. Found some interesting beers here that I haven't seen elsewhere.
