Very friendly bar with American and Canadian owners. One takes care of the drinks and others with the food.
They have a lot of options in beers and cocktails, just name ur drink, and they will have it served.

I went with 2 of my friends; they pretty much did not speak, so I had to start the conversation with my bartender. He was very much interactive and friendly.
We ordered Long Island and coke.
I don't take carbonated drinks, so I asked for a replacement in My Long Island. The bar tender immediately thought of something interesting and gave me cranberry instead of cokecola. The first time I tried Long Island cocktail with cranberry , it was quite nice to have it.

The bartender also suggested food, as it was a week day they did not have much, so he suggested did Chips and sauce, they had 4 options of sauces and dips, i asked for onion cream and sour dip for the chips, they also threw some pickles for free, wowow pickles after so many Years, literally changed My night 🌙 thank you guys for the wonderful hospitality and experience.
I will surely visit again.

Good International crowd, friendly owner n staffs, with reasonably priced drinks, street side atmosphere was enjoyable, great place to meet other expats

Seems to be a fairly popular joint with interesting variety of clientele. Been fairly popular with the westerners for the past couple years. The food is decent, especially the salads and appetizers. This is a good bar with some convenient eats and decent socializing for foreigners - highly recommend to check out.

Came across this bar in Tainan around maybe 5 months ago and hit it up nearly once every month. It’s at a lively location with some very cool art work done all around in the interiors. The music background is always churning out classic rock music and there is outdoor seating on the beautiful lit streets of Anping. The bar is owned by 2 guys Chad and Michael who are really great hosts. You will see one of them serving the drinks and the other one by the BBQ cooking up some great midnight snacks be it burgers, fries and BBQ chicken plates. I just couldn’t get enough of the food which is just perfect bar food. Strike up a conversation with either of them and you will end up laughing by about something or the other. They have a few options of craft beer, the normal Taiwan guzzlers and a plethora of cocktails. Keep talking to the bartender and he will end up making something special for you. Dive is a popular joint so a lot of people end up there in the weekends which makes great conversation and you can get an outlook on Tainan and things to do there. So if you are passing by Tainan stop and take in the experience, definitely recommended

The bearded owner has a not so manly beard but the rest is awesome. They have Taiwan craft beers which are really good. Nice place to just hang out and talk. I can only suggest this place. There are also many good food options nearby like fried chicken and so on.

The Bean burger is great! Best fries in Tainan, hands down. Good selection of beers. Fair prices. Sweet setup inside with classic movies playing constantly that will take you back!

Dive Bar is awesome Chad the owner will take good care of you and his crew if you're in Tainan this bar should be your first stop.

It's very laid back. The bartenders were very nice. Spent NYE here they took song requests and drinks were good/resonable price. Worth a stop in whenever you're in the West district.

If you want to find a bar with good music in Tainan, Dive is your best choice.

Authentic, local, honest. Not perfect. Still getting on it's feet after a change in ownership, but the new owners are there and engaged with their patrons. This is the right way to do things. Go support your local bars.

In my own experience I'd say the Dive Bar is a great place to go for drinks, music and fun when you're in Tainan.

Best fries... ever. There is beer. Good people, chill atmosphere and an adopted street dog, what else do you need to know?
