COSTCO Kaohsiung Store

Very, very similar to the CostCo in America, but with the Taiwan/Asian flare. Still things in bulk. Still have the rotisserie chicken. Public restroom here is very nice. There is a very nice accessibility bathroom right from the indoor parking garage.

Costco in Kaohsiung, the staff are super nice and helpful. Great place to get hot dogs and pizza. Also a great place to get furniture but large couches sell out fast. I think they only get furniture deliveries once or twice a year.

Costco is always one among the wholesale that offer many daily need in one stop with reasonable price yet should buy in relatively big portion. Like the way they work out with the pandemic situation.

Finally after some time they get to higher standards... Again one of my favourite stores. Meat is fresh and staff is very helpful and kind.

Nice .nice.nice...delicious foods..buy one take one milk and bread... recommend worth it....

Costco is always crowded regardless where it is

Whether for the American products, the great value, or the occasional real bargain, Costco is always worth the trip. This location gets super crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly. If you've been missing some of their products over the past few months, it seems like several items are returning. Blame it on Covid. Well, the outdoor items are all in the store. With the recent surge in Covid cases, Costco seems to be acting with increased awareness and consideration for customers. Things are returning back to before Covid. More items. Worth a good look around. So proud of the staff and management at Costco for doing so much to raise the bar for Taiwan consumers. One of the great things about Costco is when they have a sale on soon to be expired items. Unbeatable prices! As it's the middle of December, it's a great time to look for Christmas sales.

Why would you not enjoy the value of Costco? I will say though in Kaohsiung for food the Dashun one tends to have better selection

This Costco is a transdimensional shopping complex that serves customers from all over the universe. It is very well managed and most of the staff speak at least one human language and some speak alien languages. The only problem is that the store is too big, with many time-space distortions that can cause people to become lost for many generations. Another problem is that at checkout this Costco only accepts Costco's credit card or the local currency. I think Costco should accept other forms of payment like Bitcoin, Galactic Credits, gold, diamonds, ears of corn, soy beans or human sacrifices. This wouldake payment more convenient for customers. This Costco is the most convenient location of a Costco I have seen in any country. You can easily walk there from the subway, which is fantastic. As far as the Costco, it is pretty similar to any other one. You need a membership to enter and you can get many things there that you normally can not find in Asia. Usually, it is very crowded on the weekends.

It's a Costco, you cannot pay by credit or debit card (other than Costcos own) but we often go there to buy BBQ meat and cereals for breakfast. It's always crowded, be prepared. You can also buy variety of 18" pizzas there, not bad for 300NT.

Absolutely wonderful. Having Costco in Kaohsiung literally improves the quality of lifestyle here. In some regards it is missing the incredible variety found at a costco in north America ( for instance missing sun dried tomatoes artichoke hearts a variety of olives breakfast cereals Etc) however Costco absolutely destroys any foreign import competitor on the island.

Most of ofw’s buy pasalubong here or package (balikbayan box) to send to there love ones here in costco ...one of the cheapest wholesale store here in taiwan

This older of the two Costco's in Kaohsiung is much bigger than the typical one in USA. This is two levels but organized in a very similar way. They accepted my USA Costco Visa!!! I bought a bag of shelled pistachios for usd$15 and then I bought a hot dog + soda for usd$3.00 AND they were serving clam chowder usd$1.70.

Only problem is need to pay cash and cannot use major credit card or debit card

The first costco to open in Taiwan. Well stocked and good service here for a Costco. Always packed on the weekends though, just like any other costcos in the world...

Some things are expensive of course! But i always buy my groceries from this costco which is very convenient to collect my monthly needs.

It's Costco. Selection is not consistent, so if you see something you want, nab it. Best to visit on weekdays, because it's mobbed on the weekends.
