Amazing place to visit for both children and adults.
Exhibits are both in Chinese and English 👍

Depending on one’s interest, different floors have different exhibit to attend to.

Started our trip from the 6th floor about space exploration and rebuilding process after the typhoon Marokat hit Taiwan in 2015!

One can easily spend the whole day in the museum - highly recommended! 👍👍👍

HOLY MOLY THAT'S A LOT OF FUN FOR 70ntd
I expect nothing more than a showcase of machines and technology crafts. But NO, I got to learn about fabrics, material, their history, got to touch them, feel them. I got to feel the out-of-this-world atmosphere on the 6th floor, with lots of fun mini games to try (and now I know how does a space toilet look like)

A very interactive museum. I went on a weekday, and there were several field trips during this time. Didn't really run into them though.

After buying a ticket and going in, the ticket checker stamped my wrist, and I asked if we could get the stamp on a notebook, which they then told us there were other stamps in the back, which I went to get. There are more than the ones I got.
There is also a place to get a map, and you can get an English one.
My favorite was the agility test where they lit up a grid on both your left and right side, and you were basically playing whack a mole. They would also give you a score at the end. There was also an exhibit where you played the game operation on a bigger scale. Both of which were in the "Open sesame" section on the 4th floor.
There was also an "Ancient locks area," and they let you try and attempt to open 3 different really old locks.
There's also a cafe on the third floor, which was nice. There was a lot of seating and an old radio? Exhibit. The fries were really good. I also like the thai tea latte I got.

Great experience for everybody in Kaohsiung. Excessive exposition, though not everything is with English translation.
On certain days there was a free entry (not sure whether it's still a thing), some extra shows and decent restaurant inside the building.
Definitely a whole day attraction, so be prepared for it.

A extremely interesting and interactive place where they use the latest technology such as VR headsets to keep you entertained. It’s a good place to kick back and relax while the kids play around with the games. It’s a huge place so I recommend giving a full day to explore it. However, some attractions require tickets so be prepared to pay

The place is huge with 6 floors, there are a lot of interactive things that we can try
They also have some games, it cost 30 NT dollars per game
It is fun for family with children
But there is no mrt station near the museum, you could take bus or train to go there (with walking distance)

Is a must come if you have children! So many thing to explore and experience. Children below 7 is free and adults admission is NT100. Some individual stations require some payment. 100NT can gives u 4 plays if not individual station payment is NT30. I recommend get the 100NT as they can offer refund if you didn't manage to use up 4 plays! Thumbs up for the experience especially the flight simulator and the Earthquake Simulation Room!

HUGE museum that could easily take a whole day to explore. We particularly enjoyed the expansive display on the top floor about Typhoon Morakot, especially the immersive 14 minute video that projects all around you. The museum also has interesting displays on the Taiwan industrial revolution, technology, production, communication, health, etc. Free bag check, place to eat pack lunch, and I spotted a cafe as well. Plenty of bathrooms, and there’s a bus stop right outside.

Perfect place for children to spend a day or two here!! They’d never get bored and would be able to simultaneously play and learn through a variety of activities, which would keep their busy little hands super busy.

I had great experience here. You can learn a lot of Taiwan's technology advancement.

It's a great place for hanging out with family and friends, there are many interaction tools you can use, good for bonding experience.

A must visit when you are Kaohsiung, for the base price of NTD 100, absolutely worth it.

Lots of hands-on for kids and adults alike. Some exhibits are a bit out dated, but most are in good condition. A must if science museums is your thing.
