Qigu Salt Mountain

The historical amazing salt mountain became an interesting scenic spot. There are a memorial statue built each year is a surplus for shooting amazing photos. The ice cream, Douhua and other small food make here a great place for a few hours stay. Not mention it's one of the best to see sunsets in Tainan.

Beautiful sunset and so many beautiful views and sculpture, I arrive late that's why only few people's left. It's closing time is 5pm, but I still enjoy the beauty of the place and the beautiful sceneries. I love the sunset here it's so romantic and calming. You can walk around and enjoy. Thanks to the kind guard even though I haven't seen the light show, he showed me many pictures and video of the light show. Thanks for a warm accomodating🥰

Mountain of salt. Short climb up (steps and rope railing available) the mountain to get a view of the surrounding. Free entry.

There are also small food stalls and DIY experiences with salt. You can pay to make your own small glass bottle of coloured salt.
There are motor boats outside to rent (operated by 2 elderly who can't speak english) and buzz around for 5mins.

Super cool sea salt mountain. Pretty sure it’s pure salt evaporated. Good place to capture and photograph. Many things to do such as paddling a boat and much more. Food is affordable and toilets available.

It is good to see this kind of thing's while travelling and exploring.

Many cute sculptures and a nice salt hill. Quite steep so be careful.

Really interesting place. The staff is very helpful. Many activities can be done in here. The shop has many curious things among personal care stuff and snacks all prepared with sea salt.

We had lots of fun here, big space for kids to run around.

First time to see Salt Mountain! Not as very big area but is very interesting for Visitors! Good sightseeing location!

Interesting salt mount. It reminds me of those snow waste disposals we have in Canada.

Very relaxing place

Although nothing much to see apart from the white shining salt mountain (I rather call it a hill), the place is still beautiful because it has other things to look around; a small racing track, a small lake for boating, a souvenir shop and last but not the least the ice cream shop. If you get a chance to go there don't forget to buy their special salted popsicle, it might sound weir but it is fun to taste it 👍

Good

This is a very interesting place. The mountain itself is unique but when you understand how it was created it is more unique. There are many things to do and many things for young children. There is a waterpark. There is a museum of trains. There lots of interactive activities and photo opportunities.

It is a unique place to learn the history and the salt producing industry. There are many friendly staff members to answer your enquires. The facilities are new and spacious.
The number of tourists was lower than my expectation. Remember to catch the last bus.
