IMPERIAL HOTEL TAIPEI

Fantastic staff, lovely hotel. I moved after 3 days because of construction noise, so phone to check it has finished before you book a quarantine stay. Noise stops for lunch and then at 5.30, so it won't bother you for a regular non-quarantine stay. The staff were amazing. My initial room had a noisy aircon, so they gave me a free upgrade to a really beautiful room. Also, they managed well with my food allergies and if they got it wrong (it was a complex diet request), they replaced it immediately. Thank you staff for trying so hard to make my stay nice - the construction noise wasn't your fault. 5 star.

I had a great experience staying at the Imperial Hotel. The service from the staff is amazing. There is also a decent breakfast with good coffee. The rooms boast a classical decor and there is a nice English style pub opened late. I would like to Thank the manager Lillian for her patience and understanding with a reservation issue. This hotel has incredible staff and service. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet. They are also conveniently located to everything. The beds are firm and well appointed with down comforters and pillows. One of my favorite places to stay.

The hotel has the most friendly staff I have ever met in a hotel. They are sincerely friendly, honest and helpful.

The hotel itself has nice rooms, not too big but more than enough to stay in. Most rooms have double beds, TV, refrigerator, bathroom with bath and shower in the bath, sink and hairdryer. The rooms are clean and can be serviced every day. The location is central in the city and you can get everywhere quickly by metro with a metro station just 400 metres away.
Breakfast is a blend of European and Asian food.
The gym has enough to get by with some machines and weights.

The steak house is great! Especially the business lunch set. The portion is just perfect for lunch. and the servant is gentle and very experienced. The environment is also good, ideal steak house atmosphere. Very much recommended.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Taipei. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is about a five minute walk from the MRT station, making it very easy to get to other places in the city. What makes the Imperial Hotel really shine, though, is the staff. From the moment you walk up to the property, everyone is incredibly kind and ready to help. We particularly loved and were incredibly thankful for Virginia at the front desk, who was an immense help; we were running late for our next reservation at a bed and breakfast in Jiufen, and she not only helped us arrange a taxi there late in the evening and to the airport for the next morning, but also called the bed and breakfast to tell them we would be coming in past their check in hours. She really went above and beyond and deserves all the praise! We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town :)

Looking for a decent Peking Duck meal? Here's the place. The skin of the duck is roasted to a crispy taste, while the meat remains juicy. With a dab of their secret sauce, the duck skin and meat are wrapped in a thin layer of steamed flour. With the right wrapping, the size is just right for one mouthful of tasty delight. Other side dishes provide a variety of flavors and surprises. A person can be quite full with leftovers to take home. Pricing is within an acceptable range, costing about USD200 for 10 persons. Parking is free.

Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Service was prompt and daily housekeeping was professionally done, staff do not mess around with personal belongings even if they are left in the open. Location is easily accessible by metro.

Beautiful hotel. Didn't stay in the room, but the staff was helpful. Lots of Japanese tourists when I was visiting. Friend found a great deal for 11pm late night check in.

Great place with well appointed rooms and awesome staff. The gym is what I would consider minimal but adequate for most.
