Shezi Daotou Park

Nestled along the serene banks of the river, this park offers a captivating blend of nature’s beauty and recreational charm, inviting visitors to unwind and escape the hustle of urban life. The rhythmic flow of the river creates a soothing backdrop, enhancing the park’s tranquil ambiance.

This is one big open space with great sunset views. 20min before and 30min after sunset will give you the best view. There are public toilets and cafe around the area if you want to relax a bit. A nice quick get away from TPE city.

Great park for spending a few hours on a sunny day. You can watch fishermen on the docks, fly kites and at low tide see some of the interesting creatures crawling around the mangroves

Confluence of major rivers in the basin reflects the setting sun. Fishers, rats and water birds decorate the muddy banks.A note of mangrove is carried by fishy hints hiding in salty wind. Glittering Guandu temple pierced by silks of cloud starching beyond the horizon. Shades of lovers and statues on grass scattering through every evening were memorized by a glance of waves. One day we shall meet at an end of a circle.

Nice spot to take pictures during sunrise/sunset and ideal spot to take a break if you're biking.

Very nice place to go and relax. Although lights turned off at around 12 midnight (keep that in mind)

Guang-Du is just opposite across the river. You can refill your water bottle here and there are restrooms now. There's a vandal run by an uncle for drinks.

Benches and vending machines for beverages available.

Very nice place. Good for running and cycling. Bird watching in the wetland park is great too.
However, no public transportation at all.

Amazing view of Taipei and the surrounding areas.

Minutes from the city and you get waterfront fun. Great for a quick 2-hr outing Sunday afternoon with kids.
