Taipei Main Station

Clean and well-organised. Directions are marked clearly. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or by using vending machines. We purchased the tickets online (reserved seats) from the Taiwan Railway official website, and collected them from the ticket counter. Although there was a queue, it moved quickly; the service was prompt and efficient. Excellent train station with adequate dining and shopping options within the main building.

Taipei Main Station located at the heart of Taipei City, the station are linked with Taiwan Rail, Taipei Metro system Taiwan High Speed Rail and the Taiyuan International Air port Metro, even the Buses from the station are very convenient to travel anywhere in Taiwan, inside the station have many variety of food and Restaurants , the station have 4 main Gate East West South North .

Beautifully kept railway station on four floors. Both train stations, local and fast, are in B2. B1 for shops and ticket office. Upper ground floor for more shops and a wide range of snack bars and restaurants.

The central hub for all transportations in Taipei! Always very crowded but the passengers are definitely and always in an orderly fashion! Newberger seen any push & pull scenario! No fear to be afraid to go through this main station to all other places.

You can get train, metro or high speed train here. Can be crowded and multilevel but not difficult to navigate.

Very wide! And quite dizzy when you first come here! Many interesting shops here. Easy access to the mall, or TRA

Taipei is a clean and relax city. What I love about Taiwan is their passion to keep their culture and tradition alive. Thus, In this city you can find a lot of museums such as National Taiwan Museum, Chiang Kai Shek Museum, and etc.

Beautiful yet functional and efficient main train and mrt stations hub. Excellent on time performance- live up to date information electronically displayed everywhere. Toilets are ubiquitous and spotlessly hygienically clean (and free as always). Friendly and helpful professional staff. Safe- discreetly placed temperature scanners and security cameras. Always a great pleasure for mass transport.

Taipei Main Station has a historical appearance inside and out.

It looks like a big temple on the heart of taipei.

All station going to center or south of taiwan is here.
High speed train, bullet train and buses.

The busiest and crowded place.

Lots of commuters going south to north, and around taipei area.

Theres foodcourt in the first floor, so no problem if you look some food to eat.

Is all in here, and connects to the shopping malls and underground mall.

Clean and specially safe.

The directions here is a total mess. It’s really not that big, just lack coordination and some willingness to sort the mess out.

But this messiness actually make you feel like home. It works, you know. Has lots of quirks to get used to, but once you gets it, it’s home. Memory hidden in the corner you missed most of the time, but bomb into it, you will stuck there for quite some time to enjoy.

Big integrated station at the center of the city! There are three gates at each direction and the passage underground connects to MRT, railway, HSR as well as shopping streets. It has more than ten platforms, but the sign and gateway are clear. Being a hub of transportation for visitors and citizen, the station is always busy with flow of passengers. It is also a gathering place or rendezvous for group.
Since the public facility is good and well maintained, it is a nice station in order!

Loved this place, I was there at octocber 2015. Other than the long queues for train ticket (actually most of the long haul ticket can be bought at the machines). You can literally find all kinds of foods/drinks there in this place.

But it is really a maze there for its under ground tunnels (up to Basement 5). Ideal place for any last minute shopping in Taipei.

Literally there is nothing that you can't find here,this place is huge... from food,drinks, books, toys, to musical instruments, jewellery, clothes, table games, video games, manga, etc... Also great accessibility to other buildings that provide more services like movies, pool and darts, more food and drinks and hotels. The perfect place to go on a common Taipei rainy day.

Taipei Main is Quite nice, I actually find it accessible as it has connections with the TRA and the HSR.
