Really cool bakery I found off Google! Everything I bought was amazing and delicious. The owner was kind enough to give me an introduction in English to their options in an exceptional manner. Great place!

Purebread Bakery is one of the most authentic french bakeries in Taipei. Both Pecan and Almond Croissants were amazingly crispy with beautiful layers & satisfying filling.

I got the raspberry croissant and tomato focaccia. The raspberry croissant was incredible! the top had a crumble that had caramelized chewiness to it. it was not overly sweet so you don't get sick of eating the croissant half way through which is usually my issue. It was so good that I went to get a second one for the next day.
The tomato focaccia was also very good. after every bite, the bread raised again.
this was an amazing find during my week in taipei!

Its location isn’t the best for tourists who are traveling in public transports only - you would need to walk for 5-10mins from the nearest metro or bus station. However, it is certainly worthy to plan a visit especially if you like croissant.

Very impressed even the breads weren’t the freshest when I visited after 6pm the first time!! Returning in my next visit to Taipei (during the day time 😀) - simply the best!!

Best Western-Style bread in all of Taipei. I have been a customer since this bakery started at a different location in the Daan district.

EDIT: Amazing. Amazing. Speciality is their croissants, in many forms!! Their crossaint muffins are AMAZING and filled with pastry creams!! Peanut and pineapple both INCREDIBLE. Cinnamon roll is also a crossaint hybrid and not my favorite but still solid!
Best almond croissants! ♡ But too bad they don't currently have them this season~ solid quality pastries, favorites being their financiers, croissants, and sourdough bread which is the sourdough of my dreams- tangy, chewy, flavorful, with a beautifully crunchy crust- so so good! Not a huge fan of their cinnamon rolls which are pretty standard for Taipei cafes- no frosting, not a strong cinnamon flavor and on the simpler and drier side. Service is also very nice, willing to give recommendations and explain menu items well ~ will come again! :)

Small bakery in a bit of a hidden location, which I wasn't aware of business. Going through I thought I would give it a try, and wow....was I surprised.

Not a big selection however the taste was very good.

Service was pretty good and friendly, pricing is higher than most bakeries but personally I think it is definitely worth it!

a lovely western-style bakery, good Sourdough bread

I noticed that most negatives reviews mentioned their arrogant attitude and sadly, yes, they do have pretty condescending staffs and poor service ( no labels telling you what the breads are!!) However, the bread is so good that I don’t mind putting up with the terrible attitude at all. These three are my top picks, I have been there 4 times and have tried their pastries, sourdough, pies … The walnut/ pecan thing on the back of the pic was phenomenal, and so was the cream thing on the front. The sugar bun on the left did not have any fillings inside but I personally love it. They all tasted similar to🥐but the toppings and fillings made each of them so different and so enjoyable

I'm french and a true bread lover and this shop is the best bakery I tried in Taipei until now so the price is worthy. (Ordered with uber eats)

Delicious sourdough bread. Nice crunchy skin with a soft interior and delicious sourness. 140 NT per loaf. Multiple flavors of different grains and some with stuffing.

Best bakery I've been in Taiwan. It smells more than amazing. Everything is fantastic.

Their croissants were awesome! Nice little bakery filled with very warm and helpful people. Would be nicer if they convert part of the space into a seating area. Definitely we'll be back for more bread !

This is the bread you are looking for. Everything I've ate here had been amazing. I've had the chabatta from here at liquid bread, but I'd really like to just get it direct, it's always sold out though :( so popular it's gone by noon. Olive is a nice compromise though.

Probably the best sourdough in Taiwan. The mille feuille is also super tasty.

Best sour dough in taipei 🙌 a bit pricier than most bakeries here, but totally worth it! They are also on Uber eat.

So far the best bakery with a pure rye bread.
It is a big struggle to find good bread in Taiwan, but Purebread Bakery never disappoints and adds more new bread I love to buy from there.
