Songshan Fengtian Temple

This is a beautiful temple on the Tiger mountain. The location is awesome for the setting of a temple. And the structure and decorations of this temple are incredible. The relief style panels that are on display are so detailed and life-like, it is amazing. The scale of the temple is also mind blowing. The height of the interior chamber is over 3 stories tall. It is all decorated with relief panels. Overall, if you are in the area, it is a MUST.

Beautiful, large temple, with impressive architecture and scale. Very popular, and can be very crowded at times, but a great experience to worship here. Very spiritual environment, with excellent signage explaining the proper route through the temple.

The carving work in this place is nuts. So much detail and so much work. There was a service going on when we went so that was cool as well.

A must visit if you are in Taiwan! Mind blowing workmanship with so much detail. Beautifully designed inside and outside. The whole ground is well maintained and toilets for public are clean.

Very beautiful temple, you must visit if you are going to hike at Hu shan mountain. The temple has so beautiful carving on wood and beautifully decorated inside as well as outside.

Easily most beautiful temple in Taipei. A local secret as all the tourists go to crowded Long Shan Temple. Situated 3 floors up from street level, you'll be blown away by accessibility and sheer stunning beauty.

Absolutely glorious! I couldn't believe my eyes. The sheer level of detail is breathtaking. I spent as much time as I could before catching my plane to my next destination. Looking forward to returning to Taiwan if just to visit other amazing examples of ancient Chinese architecture.

Majestic temple!! The craftmenship is amazing!! Take note that the praying sequence starts from level 2 of the temple, not level 1, dont repeat my mistake if your first time here!

Massively, beautiful Buddhist temple with great view of Taipei 101. Plenty of restrooms for the public to use.

Hike the easy trail, stairs near the temple to get a scenic view of Taipei.
