Jheng Da Tea Garden

Nice food. Though price a bit on the high side but expected for restaurant stationed atop the maokong area. The waiter even taught me how to make the tea through a tea filter as well.

We randomly chose this place to have our lunch. It was not crowded when we arrived so we did not have to wait that long before we got our orders. While our meal was a bit pricy —we chose a bundle meal that's good for 4 pax but can probably be good for 5pax— it was delicious and the servings were generous. There is a good view of downtown Taipei, which made me enjoy our food better. Place is roughly 5-7min walk from Maokong station. Highly recommended (for me).

Came here a few years ago when visiting Maokong with family and it was pretty good, so when I came to Maokong this time I stopped by again to get dinner and tea. The food was good and the tea was delicious!

This food is the best I've had in Taiwan! Every dish has tea incorporated and it is absolutely delicious. We had cold tea and tea brewed from fresh leaves. It brews much more quickly than I was used to, only 30 seconds and it comes out strong. Sat by a window with a fantastic view of Taipei and Taipei 101 with the mountains behind, it was gorgeous. Highly recommend this place

Surprisingly good food. We came to Maokong to look a the scenery and stumbled upon this little gem. Originally ordered some drinks and and afternoon tea set but ended up staying because the owner recommended some dishes to us and we loved it. The smoked chicken and signature salted pork were delicious. What really won me over though was the bamboo. It was tender and flavorful without being too salty. The natural sweetness of the bamboo really shined due to the simplicity of the dish. I got a kiwi smoothie and you can tell a bunch of kiwi went into the drink. CP value was also very good

Hidden gem. Clean surroundings and peaceful ambience. Spectacular view of Taipei City. Yummy food.

Very kind and helpful staff, gorgeous views, cute decorations, prices not bad. Just a short walk from the station. The contraption for making iced teas is very cool!

hands down the best place to get rose tea especially on a cols windy day! we love the hot teas and tea infused waffles here.

bonus for nursing mamas is a neat nursing room inhouse that doubles up as a diaper changing room.

Absolutely worth a visit. The food is top notch even with kids who are picky. I especially enjoyed the tea fried rice.

This was an amazing place to eat and have tea and food! Highly recommend the smoked chicken thigh, tea oil noodle, tea leaf fried rice. We sat on the roof and had an amazing view, food and service!
