Affordable prices and the location is amazing.
5mins walk to the Taipei main station and with several family mart and 7/11 nearby.

They does house keeping everyday to keep the room clean.
They provide toothbrush and all toiletries that you need.

With sushiro on the second floor and MacDonald at the 1st floor.

Will definitely stay at smile inn again!

Nice hotel right next to the main train station. Excellent in terms of location. Good enough if you’re out the whole day and just need a place to rest and sleep. Staff are generally friendly. Highly recommended.

Awesome stay here, clean and cozy environment.

Location is at its best as it is near to the train station with ample of food around the corner, not to mention the McD located just below the hotel. It is also situated not far from the National Museum and the president office.

Staff is friendly and willing to help but need more training as when we asked any local food worth to try near the area, they don't seems to be able to answer.

Love the creative light near the room door that represent the room number. Kudos to the designer.

Definitely will come back next time.

Clean, tidy, neat, and close to Taiwan Railway, and famous well know Japanese department store 'Mitsubishi' good for 1-2 persons for 3 or few days visit. But the counter staff really need more training for helping visitors usual but special needs, as courier service delivery to their hotel guest, pretty messy, I can't able to receive my ordered in Taiwan and need to rearrange, find some other ways try to get my orders...finally a small ruined my trip

......Just stayed 3 nights again last week middle December 2018 after last year visit, this time was my business trip, same excellent location to both TMS and Mitsubishi department store and walking distance to backside stationary stores; still neat and tidy, clean rooms and corridors, always smiling staff and even cleaning ladies!
Compare to nearby Taipei H Imperial hotel I visited and tried on April this year 2018, even Taipei H have got just 1 minute closer to TMS, Smile Inn gave less price and NO horrible bunk bed even 1 person small room, but Taipei H gave bunk bed with much higher price and of course even for 1 person room!

One thing I feel great is the counter/concierge staff, special thanks to ‘Ms. Peggy Lo Pei Chi’, last year she was the messy one maybe with communication misunderstand, but this year visit, very very great service, very helpful, responsible and courtesy to customers, feeling great she coincident helped me again and great to see her great improvement!
I will definitely highly recommend for stay in this Inn!

週末に二泊しました。週末は値段が台北駅周辺は高めですが、その中ではお値打ちでした。部屋も清潔。遮音性はイマイチでしたが、このクラスであまりいいホテルはないので仕方ないと思います。フロントは24時間ではないですが、カードを入れるボックスがあるので早めのチェックアウトでは大丈夫だそうです。

In November 2023, we stayed at Smile Inn - Taipei Main Station for 4 days, opting for a windowless double room. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our accommodation experience. It perfectly met the needs of general travelers, although it may not cater to those seeking a resort-like experience.

The room was equipped with bath towels, face towels, a hairdryer, kettle, mini-fridge, television, desk, instant coffee, and tea, providing a range of basic amenities. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, razors, shower caps, and soap were available upon request at the front desk. We only requested a comb as we brought our own toiletries. The lobby provided a hot and cold water dispenser and a scale.

Surprisingly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Despite the hotel being fully booked during our stay, the soundproofing was reasonably effective. We could hear some noise from the adjacent room when they used the bathroom, but it remained within acceptable limits. The only issue was the glass door in the bathroom, and the silicone strip on the door frame produced significant friction noise every time it was opened or closed. We took matters into our own hands and applied some Vaseline to the silicone strip, successfully resolving the bothersome problem. We recommend the hotel inspect and address this minor design issue.

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. Coming from the Z6 exit (stairs) or Z4 exit (lift) of the Taipei Main Station underground street, head right facing the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi entrance. Walk towards the right, and you'll see the signs for McDonald's and Sushiro. The hotel entrance is just beside McDonald's, near the building management office on the right. Take the elevator to the sixth floor, where the hotel is situated.

There are several shops in the vicinity that may interest foreign travelers, including Guangnan Wholesale - Taipei Xuchang Store, NET flagship store, Watsons, Eight Degrees Noodle (Taipei Huaining Store), Sushiro , Liu Shandong Beef Noodle劉山東牛肉麵, Fuzhou Sizu Pepper Cake福州世祖胡椒饼, Old Taiwanese Noodle老台客食面, Jiguang Fragrant Chicken继光香香鸡, Poya, and more.

在2023年11月，我们在詩漫精品旅館住宿了4天，选择了一间无窗的双人房。总体来说，我们对住宿体验感到相当满意。对于一般旅客的住宿需求来说，它是完全符合要求的。

房间内设有浴巾、面巾、吹风筒、热水壶、迷你冰箱、电视机、办公桌、即溶咖啡和茶，提供了一系列基本设施。牙膏、牙刷、梳子、剃须刀、浴帽和肥皂等需要向前台索取。我们只取了梳子，因为自备了其它用品。大厅提供冷热水机和秤。

房间出乎意料地干净，床也很舒适。尽管入住期间房间全部被预订，隔音效果还算不错。隔壁房间使用卫浴设施时，我们能听到一些声音，但仍然在可以接受的范围内。唯一的问题是厕所的玻璃门，门框上的硅胶条导致每次打开或关闭门时都会发出巨大的摩擦声。后来，我们采取了一些措施，在硅胶条上涂了一些凡士林，成功解决了这个令人困扰的问题。建议酒店检查并改进这个设计上的小问题。

該旅館距離台北車站很近，位置非常方便。从台北车站站前地下街Z6出口（樓梯）或Z4（电梯/升降机）出口出来后，沿着新光三越门口面朝右边走，就可以看到麦当劳和寿司郎的招牌。酒店入口位于麦当劳右边的大楼管理处，电梯可直达六楼，即酒店所在。

附近有许多国外旅客可能感兴趣的店铺，如光南大批发-台北許昌門市、NET馆前二店、屈臣氏、八方雲集（台北懷寧店）、寿司郎 台北馆前路店、劉山東牛肉麵、福州世祖胡椒饼、老台客食面、继光香香鸡、宝雅等等。

交通方便，離台北車站很近，樓下有麥當勞、壽司郎、寶雅、小吃⋯要買吃的用的都很方便，這次住了三天兩夜住無窗房型，睡得很舒服😌，房間也沒有異味，也不會舊舊昏暗昏暗的，是乾淨簡約的，浴廁也有乾濕分離，洗手台的水是溫的很加分，電視頻道也都有，不是沒有看過的奇怪頻道，櫃檯服務人員態度也很好👍🏼，來台北住過六間旅店，會讓我想再住的就有這一間，而且這次也是第二次了🤩，下次還會選擇！！！
